Funny, I've had no problem playing offline on other platforms. This is a common issue with PC gaming, stupid launchers with their stupid always-online requirements.

I don't think Valve make any profit by selling the Steam Deck. It's all about cashing in on software, so Gabe probably couldn't care less. Also, Gabe already turned his back on me when he decided to only release the Steam Deck to countries (Europe) that's part of the EU, so it never released where I live.
