I love the hand/arm positions these people have, imagine how sore your arms would get doing that for even 15 mins :messenger_tears_of_joy:

Director: "No, no! Higher! We need to really see the controllers clearly"
Actors: *crying* "Please can we have a break! My arms are going numb!"
Thats how my non gamer exwife would hold a controller. It was one of the many reason we are no longer a couple.

The Atari VCS 2600 was my very first console and i still have some fond memories of it (Pitfall, H.E.R.O., Starmaster ...). I also like the design of this one. But i won't buy it, too expensive and limited and i already have a good gaming PC. IF a new Commodore AMIGA is released on the other hand...

They are resting their arms on their knees, so not too bad probably.

I came here to shitpost at you but you are right, this is the end of the bi-partisan domination. The VCS is coming to finish the console wars once and for all.

as much as i love me some nostalgia..atari really have not been Atari since 96 when the Jaguar died...prior to that you would have to go back to the 80s....i think Sega coming back and releasing a console would have more impact

Can you??

The retro buff inside me wants this , but the Atari games are not worth the money, if this can play old PC games???
It's not that I own it or anything, maybe I should have worded my post differently.

But looking at the specs on the official site it looks like some sort of apu-based pc.

Maybe it's comparable to a series S in terms of power, given the price point?

I'd literally use it for games up until about 2005 anyway. Having looked into it you can install windows on it on a duel boot

It's real

Huh that was way better than I expected, kinda cool tbh, but the price is too high.

The joystick interests me the most though. A wireless joystick 🕹 is all kinds of awesome! Is the build quality good? Can this be used on a PC and on Xbox through RetroArch? If so then insta buy!
