Needs a stick
No more dildo bulb, that's a good thing.
Well this is one of them . We don't know the other one yet . Apparently it has many sensors on the gripNeeds a stick
There are no sticks ? Those are not better than PS moves.
Is there any truth to Xbox series X having Velocity Engine architecture means they don't need a superfast SSD.
having a low cost SSD will keep the price down and the architecture makes up for it![]()
Marketing. They sell nvdimm.
And people get surprised why PS5 logo got so much success/Apparently the official Xbox series X logo based on trademark filing.

Yup. But i expect, that Lockhart SSD will be same as XsX in terms of speed. Maybe lower capacity.3rd parties will actually use PC or lockhart SSD a lowest denominator. Maybe draw a line at 500MBs. And on XsX/PS5 use extra speed for textures.
This is one of them .stick cam be on the other one . and how they fuck u know these are not better than ps move ? Anything is better than ps move for vr. Ps move was not precise .There are no sticks ? Those are not better than PS moves.
If 21 and 22 are haptics? Imagine feeling the wheel in GranTurismo or feeling a door knob?
And people get surprised why PS5 logo got so much success/
Tell me that is fake please.
So there's no truth to what they said though? That low latency high bandwidth persistent memory will accelerate AI and ML?
Any half-truth to that?
Look like a deodorant logo for guysApparently the official Xbox series X logo based on trademark filing.

Tom warren on next gen:
You just know the MS PR are saying these cause lockhart is gonna be revealed soon![]()
No they r doing it . Such a weird tactic. They were all about that 17% more TF and now all of a sudden it doesn't matterIs MS really throwing XSX under the bus for Lockhart or did someone hack his account?

Come on guys. That's not what they're doing. No they r doing it . Such a weird tactic. They were all about that 17% more TF and now all of a sudden it doesn't matter![]()
Come on guys. That's not what they're doing.
I'm often wondering, if some guys around here are just trolls, or they are not capable to use their brain...
It's real. And people get surprised why PS5 logo got so much success/
Tell me that is fake please.
Update: A Microsoft spokesperson has told GamesRadar that the Xbox Series X logo trademark is "not indicative of final imagery".
It's real. It's a logo. Some people like it, others don't. We all know what you would've thought about it before it was revealed. And people get surprised why PS5 logo got so much success/

Nobody says, GPU power isn't important. He just stated, that CPU and SSD are most important advancement because it's just true. Even if you compare slower XsX SSD to HDD you get 30x higher speed. And CPU is also in another league. So of course they are the key. But if you want to have next-gen games at 4K/60 you obviously need TFLOPs too. Of course, not saying, that PS5 don't have enough horsepower. How do you interpret his comment of teraflops aren't as important as CPU and SSD for next-gen?
It's obviously to talk up Lockhart since it is low on teraflops but at the same time kicks XSX down a peg.

Also, he is not throwing XsX under the bus. Because Lockhart is different product for different audience. It's like saying, that Apple with announcement of cheap iPhone threw their flagship under the bus. Lockhart is 1080p machine, XsX is 4K machine. Every console have horsepower needed for their target resolution and that's end of story. If you want to game at 4K yo pick XsX, if you don't care about that and want cheaper alternative, you have Lockhart.
I really don't know if it's that complicated...
Two products, each with a different target audience.I just think it's odd he would pin them against each other like that. Focus on price instead of dragging down the other.
I think that Lockhart part of the tweet is more about "Lockhart will be a bottlneck of next-gen" concerns. By stating, that CPU and SSD are biggest difference makers in next-gen he is implying, that since Lockhart will have same CPU/SSD it won't cause a trouble in next-gen games. And since Lockhart is targeting different audience and different resolutions, number of TFLOPS is just not important.I just think it's odd he would pin them against each other like that. Warren is not Microsoft employee. He is not their marketing guy and not their spokesperson.Still it's bad marketing as you'll no doubt get sites running with teraflops don't matter. You don't attack one product your trying to sell to uplift another.
Since Lockhart is not officially announced yet and i doubt that even Warren know it's price, you can't play "price card" yet.Focusing on price would have been a lot smarter. IMO
Warren is not Microsoft employee. He is not their marketing guy and not their spokesperson.
Don't worry. Microsoft won't talk about TFLOPS in marketing. Phrase "most powerful" for XsX and "most affordable" for Lockhart will be enough
Microsoft doesn't care if one of the products fails as long as one of them succeeds. In their perspective, it isn't bad marketing. They want market control, they don't care about losses.Still it's bad marketing as you'll no doubt get sites running with teraflops don't matter. You don't attack one product your trying to sell to uplift another.

Wow, people are still attacking the PlayStation 5.
Well if you read the Windows Central interview with developers yesterday, they kept talking about SSD and fast I/O as the main feature of the next-generation
Now they are releasing a 4TF console.
So the music changed big time since last month

It's hilarious!![]()
Well I stopped playing Modern Warfare because spending anymore than a minute in the lobby or in my loadouts pushed my Pros fans to max speed to the point that i started panicking and closed the game. There even was a slide illustrating the sonic shock waves emanating from the PS4 Pro.
Joking (but just a bit).
It is really a bad logo. It's real. It's a logo. Some people like it, others don't. We all know what you would've thought about it before it was revealed.
Yup. sure. Billion dollar company which marketing strategy is "throwing stuff at the wall and see what sticks." That sound awfully lot like "Sony panicked after XsX reveal and boosted 9,2TFLOP console to 10,2" that was flying around here...The smell of fear. Throwing stuff at the wall and see what sticks.
Aah, gotta love this FUD...Well. He can say whatever he want (of course he wouldn't say that PS5 have problems with cooling even if that was a case. Same as Microsoft didn't say anybody about high failure rate of X360). It's final product that interests me.
Microsoft showed their cards and heat factor forced them to split the motherboard and create tower like design with APU on one side and SSD on other side to keep everything cool. If that "heat pipes going through motherboard" will be true for PS5 that will be expansive as fuck. But i guess we need to wait and see...

so what he's saying that actual ps5 gpu is running at 2ghz and upclocking to 2.23ghz hmmm... weird
close to or at 2.23ghz does close means 2ghz?![]()
Seems Mark Cerny made good moves focusing on SSD.
