Reality will always be below expectations. I don't think they show all the cards today. I'm not saying it because I know it. I say this because at the business level it would be the most logical. Although they may also want to compensate for so much delay "in some way".
I would love for you to start the presentation with this playable real-time (and improved with MegaScans).

The Sony E3 2016 was probably perfection in terms of intro which led to atmosphere highlighted by the performances of the orchestra the entire show, pacing, gameplay vs trailers, little to no filler and hype reveals with barely any words spoken aside from Shawn Layden giving a welcome speech and a heartfelt condolences to those who were shot and killed in Orlando day prior.

I can't wait to see Horizon 2 in action on PlayStation 5!
I think it will look close to Unreal 5 in terms of assets/textures (because keep in mind, the Unreal 5 demo they said they can render those assets/textures in huge open spaces).
Also I think it'll be the most impressive game we'll see out of this reveal event, it will even look better than any game Microsoft will show in July or any 3rd-party game for that matter.
Guerrilla Games when it comes to graphics, almost no one can compare with them when they release their games at the same time.
It will look similar to that Unity "Heretic" demo or even better in huge open spaces too, you guys will see!

I think it will concentrate on games, but console itself has to be revealed surely? If they wait until August it will leak. Console will be helpful to head up all the main stream press articles.

Motorstorm with the level of fidelity of that trailer is definitely possible now with the SSD. So yes give me a Motorstorm trilogy remake, Give me a Resistance trilogy remake. Give me Driveclub at 4k 60FPS and remake Heavenly Sword with the Decima Engine, it's Sony's IP, so they can do that too....

Man so many great franchises, you really can't think of them all. Yet if there is PS2 BC, I will revisit GT4, that and GT3 are right on my desk, as I plugged in my PS2 sometime ago to play them....

A few fun facts: Sony showed the PS4 on June 10th, 2013 at 6pm PST, almost exactly 7 years and a few hours before today's stream. The comment with possible leaks in the coming weeks is also correct.

Ha ha, you are doing the pessimistic for the optimistic. I see it....I always figured VR hardware would be shown in 2021/22, but if Sony shows that here too. Minds will be blown. Sony has so much artillery they can unleash, they were just waiting for the competition to say something/anything really "like; they are making no announcements, they are quitting E3, they are unprepared".
Yet clearly, they have to leave some announcements for later, so we won't get everything today, but they are clearly sitting on lots of announcements and megatons.

indeed, it's a Swiss knife of potential. Personally a small glimpse of vr with current vr hardware as a show of commitment, not to mention one upping the competition would be sizzling. The current helmet can realise new potential and a new lease on life with new hardware driving it.
Blow us away again with VR2 down the track.

All the Killzones should be remade, including Mercenary. I think Killzone 1 should definitely be remade, they could touch up on some gameplay mechanics, like include jumping, improve gunplay. It had great characters and a nice setting. It had awesome weapons. They could redo Killzone 1 the same way Capcom is redoing it's RE games currently. It would also be a great game for COOP and MP. Don't get me started on the GOAT KZ2 and of course KZ3 is a no brainer.
