I would gladly accept 9.2TF RDNA with a better HW Ray Tracing implementation (YottaRays/s ). Here's hoping.
As long as Sony have WWS I'll probably keep on team blue. XBox doesn't make sense for me. It doesn't have exclusives and PC is more powerful although more expensive.

It is a bit odd that MS has a second chip, but so little info exists about the other console. Must really be guarding that with their life. LOL

Faster could be referring to GPU clockspeed. In all the data leaks so far PS5's GPU is consistently clocked higher out of the two. Assuming the chip architecture and size stays roughly the same, faster GPU clock should hold.

You cant just compare pc parts like that to one vs ps4. CU count difference is big and makes it to be around 40-45%

I dunno - could be some misinformation in there .. but people seem to be back on the "PS5 is a litttle more powerful" thing - and there's no way in hell a 36CU part is goinf to outperform the ~400mm2 die we've seen from Scarlet..

..But I don't think Klee is fake etc .. all the sources don't line up though

The PS4 had somewhere around a 39% TF advantage over the XB1. On top of that, it used GDDR5 which has higher bandwidth than the XB1's DDR3 RAM and the miniscule 32 MB of esRAM was a bottleneck. The PS4 also had twice the ROPs and far more GPGPU compute units.

I believe this is the correct answer (posted at reeee):

My theory was that Sony didn't have anything substantial to work on otherwise, hence the "waiting for big Navi" part.

More "evidence" points to PS5 being on big Navi, and with the knowledge PS5 had dev kits out far longer than Xbox, and Xbox only started sending theirs out in mid November, that could point to Sony using currently available AMD tech back in early 2019 for dev purposes, while Xbox waited for big Navi to be available.

The Oberon chip wouldn't be just for BC, it would to get dev kits out early while Sony waits for AMD on big Navi.

AMD not being able to deliver the specs on the timeline Sony wanted is pretty believable to me.

Xbox One is more like HD 7770 than 7850 lol
HD 7850 is close to PS4.

I see 60% to 87% for these... that means 45% difference.

Of course these cards are not exactly the same on PS4/XB1 but it is the most close in terms of TFs.

Actually the jump from 1.31 to 1.84 is 40%.
1.23 to 1.84 is 49%.

Depending of what you are basing...

1.84 is 40% more than 1.31.
1.31 is 33% less than 1.84.

One thing to note is that having "final spec list" is not a guarantee they will represent the retail products (which klee has already said)
It's all depends how Conservative or aggressive each company was when coming up with these targeted specs.
I think Ms will have some wiggle room with clocks because there tower design will allow this, the question is have Sony gone for an equally efficient cooling system or even more efficient.
