Just watched the video review from the Verge.
Is the camera really a breaking point for people buying a smartphone?? I've never known anyone who would consider that a deal breaker.

This is why I hate buying anything with a screen.
There are a significant amount pf people that solely use smartphone cameras.Just watched the video review from the Verge.

I don't get it either. I'll probably take less than 5 "meaingful" pictures over the course of a year with my phone. I took around 200 total pictures with my current phone, over two years. And almost every one has been more of a note than something where I actually care about picture quality.
Unfortunantly yes, installed the nexus 5 apk on my n4 and exchange is broken. Is there a problem with Exchange support in 4.4? I've put in my credentials same as my 4.0.3 phone, even tried the domainusername combo (since 4.4 doesn't have a separate domain field), but no dice beyond a "couldn't finish" popup.
It's really all about something being up to par with its competitors. The N4's camera was significantly behind the S3 or iPhone 5's cameras.. hell, I think even the iPhone 4 took better photos than the N4.
You wouldn't imagine how frustrating it is to wait 2-3 seconds (after you hit the button) for your camera to focus properly before it actually takes the photo... and god help you if you don't keep a steady hand while it's doing that. Drove me insane with the N4.
In this day in age of Instagram and Twitter, many people take tons of pictures. So at the very least, a responsive camera is a plus. If the camera app takes forever to load up and then even longer to shoot a proper picture, the phone will feel sluggish...Even if everything else on the phone runs at lighting speeds.

Yes! I thought it was me. I really like my N4 apart from that camera.

What's the best wifi tethering app for this? I don't usually use tethering, but it's nice to have in an emergency. (I used Mywi on iPhone. Used maybe like 4 times a year)

Oh no it isn't you. My wife frequently wants to throw her N4 in the nearest garbage can when she attempts to take pictures with it.
You can turn it off (but only by turning off the feature itself)Yeah and while we're at it, am I the only one bothered by the "Say 'Ok Google'" text constantly being there?
But I just got itSeeing this reported quite a bit at XDA forums.. RMA it.
You need to set it to US englishYou can turn it off (but only by turning off the feature itself)
I can even find a way to turn it on, is it not available in the UK or something?
Built in (OS level) tethering.
He claims that the camera isn't top tier, and then praises the fact it's only $350. You can't have both.
Even if I don't pay for a tethering plan? Mywi didn't require a separate payment plan from AT&T. I don't use it enough to justify paying for it every month. Like I said, I only used it like 4 times the past year during emergencies.
Google automatically backs up all that stuff for me. So when I get a new phone, I just enter my Google account and bam... everything is there.
I use SMS Backup and Restore for texts.
But I just got it
I probably will. It'll drive me crazy otherwise. I just don't want to wait another month for a replacement.
The guy who made the GS4 vs N5 picture/video youtube video has one for the 5s and N5
N5 looking pretty good
Yes, the price point is low on this phone, but not low compared with on-contract phones (which the majority of consumers purchase), and nothing else about the Nexus 5 feels cheap.
Whoa, the N5 did really well here.
Anyone activated on Sprint yet? I order my sim card today in preparation for my 32GB nexus arriving later this week...
