Just ordered the 32gb from amazon with saturday delivery yay $17 difference between standard shipping and next day saturday? lol ok

Glad I checked GAF first thing waking up this morning, lol. 32 gb version ordered with prime to arrive by Tuesday. Finally found something to apply my giftcard credit towards.

Ugh bestbuy. Cancelled by bb preorder for amazon and bb still charged me $32 for that promotional software webroot that gets added to your order...ffs. Called and went through like 10 different people and they said call back in 3-5 days if it's not taken off.

Bluetooth ones are fine, just not wired USB ones.

So then if I want to get a tablet that can effectively replace textbooks I should wait for the Nexus 10 reboot? I'd rather spend $400 plus $20/textbook or whatever it is than $150 for every single book.

Look up your textbooks first. If it looks like you can get the correct editions then it's not a terrible idea.

I wish they would have just announced the 26th as the release date. I cancelled my BB online order for amazon now I just cancelled my amazon because local BB says they have it in stock for pickup today lol. Got like $600 coming back to my card. Guess it wouldn't be a proper Google launch without a headache.

USB OTG has been removed. Someone asked on Asus's facebook page and Asus said they were sorry to announce it has been removed on the new Nexus 7.

Clearly it's a call from Google, since they also removed it on the Nexus 4.

i know Wii didn't work in 4.2 and PS3 BT has always required root or a USB OTG -> compatible USB BT adapter.

not familiar with android, how do they work with pcs? Is there an itunes equivalent, or is it just a storage device that i can drag and drop my "pornography" on it?

Software selection and quality is a huge factor for a tablet purchase, though. Nobody wants to drop hundreds on a slab that won't do the things they want to do, no matter how nice that slab looks or runs benchmarks.
