Quick question, does the nexus load mobile sites automatically? Is there an option to turn it off?
Was thinking about getting ipad mini, but now considering nexus because its 130$ cheaper.

Apple conf. made nexus browsing experience look horrible, how is it?
they need to do no such thing. that is ridiculous, especially considering these more recent devices dont get the credit at all.I think they should give 16 GB early adopters another 25$ play store credit. Really bothers me that it only took two months. I love the device but man I could use those other 16 gigs.

things get upgraded, its something you have to deal with when you are an early adopter.
Just know that when you do that you will have a harder time upgrading (although its easy to revert) because ota updates require your /system folder to be clean.
I was waiting for the price drop. Think I might jump in now, Just have to decide between the 16 gig and 32 gig models.
Is there anything to watch out for in terms of hardware defects still?
Yeah, that's all you have to do.I suppose that to revert you just need to delete the browser apk and rename the files back to their original names, am I right?
Yeah, that's all you have to do.
Yep, occasionally happens to mine too. Not only in Chrome, though, I've also noticed it in other apps.Sometimes I notice one line of pixels that flicks one moment and then comes back to the normal. The odd thing is that it only happens with Chrome. Someone had this problem too?
Small OTG Micro SD
Not sure if old, but this excites me. I think I just found my dream OTG expansion, form wise.

Does this new version of the Nexus 7 support multiple accounts like the Nexus 10?
Ah, I was under the impression the new models were shipping with 4.2 already. Not yet, this will be added in Android 4.2, which is not available yet.
Just two more days...
Any advice on what I should do/get immediately upon receiving this beast?
Does anyone know how to print stuff on your printer using Nexus 7?
Hey, I'm thinking about getting a Nexus 7, but I don't know much about Android environment. What is the alternative to apple's itunes or amazon's video store for videos? I want to buy a few tv shows for the tablet but I honestly have no clue where to get it. Or could I watch videos from Amazon store on it, too?
Download the flash apk.
Download a browser that supports flash.
Watch all the porn you'll ever need.

Thanks! Do I have to root it to do these things? Sorry, I'm an android noob.
Looks like it will arrive today instead of tomorrow, which means most of my afternoon will be completely wasted lol
You don't have to but you might as well do it before you start filling it up.
It's a piece of piss to do with the Nexus Root Toolkit.
What are downsides to rooting? What about when 4.2 comes out?
I used OTA Root Keeper when upgrading from 4.1.1 to 4.1.2 and had no issues whatsoever. Just run the app once rooted and then again once the OS update has installed and it will restore the root in a second.
No disadvantages of rooting that I can think of, just plenty of advantages!
I'm rooted... now what do I do?
Does the flash only work with firefox beta? I don't like the beta ribbon on the app

RevDM,
If you have a PS3 dualshock, SixAxis Controller is a must.
Absolutely.Anyone else think Chrome feels a LOT better since the latest update?
Man I'm struggling with purchase decisions. I'm such a tech whore that I really have a hard time not having the newest model of something. Being this many months into the N7's life cycle is making me hesitate on purchase. I want a Nexus 10, but I also want to try out the 7" form since I haven't yet (except with girlfriend's Kindle Fire which I put Jellybean on; runs fine but I don't want to judge 7" tablets based on that).
Does Walmart have live models of these to try?
