Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
45-10. We'll take it.

On the Lions board I predicted 44-14 Detroit.

Can't wait till he gets his ring this year.

Do you think they make Superbowl rings that are fire proof?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DO NOT MENTION THAT WORD LEST YOU CURSE THE SECOND HALF OF THE SEASON (and we end up like Denver did after they went 6-0 that one year).

I just wanted to tell the Detroit Lions good luck. We're all counting on you.

Super satisfying win, almost as good as the AFC championship last year.

Lets keep the momentum!

And it's actually nice to see our conference in beast mode for once, I don't mind the competition, bring it!

Not that the Patriots had played well all game, but I thought the game turned on that Gronk catch in the end zone. Momentum had shifted somewhat and the Pats were starting to turn things on. I understand wanting to preserver the timeouts but that was such a clear touchdown. The Pats would have had like 3:45 on the clock. They might not have put themselves in a position where they kick an onside kick, etc. etc.

Hindsight is 20/20 on that, but I'm still just amazed by the non-challenge there.
Yea pretty much, and Brady gave them all the time in the world to look at it. In the end the Pats lost because the offense sucked balls the entire game. The most disappointing thing is that they couldn't even pick up simple stunts today.

And now we get a nice bye week for the Lions to tune up. Hopefully it's enough time for Eric Wright to get himself back together, not to mention another week for Best and Fairley.

Well done, gentlemen. See you in Chicago!

Well Detroit, good game. I think in some ways it was a good loss in that it exposed quite a few things:

1. Tebow is not ready or will never be a starting QB. He's totally inaccurate. I will give him more time to prove me wrong, but as it stands he has a long way to go.

2. Tebow is not the only problem with this team. Oline is failing, defense is failing.

3. Detroit defense/offense made it look like boys playing men.

Really? Nothing bad about your defense at all?

What's funny? This always happens.

Bengals win by 20+ points, and you look at the scoreboard and say "Wow, the Bengals killed another team! They must be awesome" but in reality, they almost lost and just got a bunch of junk points scored by the defense at the end.

So, stop doing that.

The Bengals aren't awesome, but they don't suck either. Bengals fans should be very happy about that!

Things can change in a heart beat. GG Broco-Gaf.

Congrats Lion-Gaf.

Best bye week in a while.

Actually, outside of the Pats losing, it sucked for us.

Buffalo, Cincinnati, Houston, Tennessee, Baltimore, Pittsburgh = win.
New England = loss.

Then again, maybe the division is the only option for the Jets this season.

A week yes. I'll have one made up for you tomorrow or in the new thread on Tuesday.

Bengals are likely to be 5-2.

Let that sink in.

Are people not respecting them this year or is this persecution complex stuff?

People bitching about Brady on that final drive need to STFU. It is much more embarrassing to throw some shitty 12 yard pass up the middle than to try and wait for a WR to get open deep to win the game.

Pats offense sucked. It was also a great week to have no DB. How many 3rd and 10+ yards did the Steelers get with wide open passes over the middle. That slot DB they released might have helped SMH. Also fantastic onside kick with 3 timeouts and over 2 minutes left. Retards.

Eventually the Pats need to commit to the running game. You draft two running backs so that they can sit on the bench. With the Law Firm they have a power running game, but they never use it. I just wish they would run more than they do, but it's not going to happen as long as Brady is under center. It's too tempting to pass every play. If they had a successful running game it would solve some of the protection problems they have had in the last few weeks.

Defense is shit. We all know that, but they held the steelers to a bunch of field goals. That's how this current Pats team is built. TDs vs Field Goals. I'm not saying they played great, but the offense did absolutely nothing all game.

Well, not me personally. I watch every game, that's how I know they really aren't good. Sorry, I'm just in disbelief.

Yeah, right.

But seriously, I started calling him the Dragon when he threw that "TD" to Megatron in the Bears game last year. And it just stuck.

On a side note: Drew Stanton is the Land Dragon for future reference, Lions-gaf
