Though he blew that catch today, he made up for it with that great catch.

That little screen would have been a TD. I have no idea why even new Rams players drop footballs. Different QBs. Different stadiums. Even players acquired via trade.

It's like Cleveland with staph infections

That's for the playoffs. Tie breaker for teams in the draft is strength of schedule. The presumption is that is if Team A had an easy schedule, and Team B had a difficult schedule, then Team A is "worse" than Team B b/c they achieved the same number of victories against lesser competition.

I know, I just posted the steps on how it is decided, but I'm talking about the extreme 1/10000000 chance that everything is the same and it comes down the coin toss.

Well yeah. I don't think anyone is dogging the Patriots for having Tom Brady throw the ball 40 times a game, since we've had enough time to realize that that works really well. My understanding is that all these complaints are about playcalling. No matter how good or bad your pass and rush game are individually, running 5-wide, shotgun spreads, and dual-TE constantly does not serve your offensive gameplan at all. It takes away the play action and Brady isn't mobile enough to make defenses pay attention to him.

The Jets game last year was a demonstration of that, as the Jets figured out that they could ignore the run completely, trust their defensive talent to execute the coverage, and let the rest take care of itself. I'm not sure if the Patriots have actually adjusted to that yet.
Couldn't agree with you more. My problem with alot of the posters/callers they complain "we aren't running the ball". We are 100% capable of running effectively. My issue is we simply aren't rushing at the correct times. That is either simply a OC issue or Brady calling the shots. In the end I still want to see Brady throwing more often than not. It would be silly to have it any other way.

Perfect, so you are agreeing with me. If we had a 1000+ runner in the previous season, how are we not running the ball?

The OC is an idiot. You haven't figured that part out yet. Your blaming it on running attack that average 4.6 yards a carry and are top 10 in the league per carry.

If you have been reading my posts you would have known I figured that out before this conversation began.

2 more things about the Pats before I'm going to enjoy this Cowboys-Eagles game.

1. Is Bill Belichick outdated and done ?
2. Logan Mankins has been turrible this season.

Yeah? And Donald Williamson Caterpillar hybridization PNAS paper.

Give it time.

Eh..... huh?

I like McCoy, and undoubtedly he could be better if we had a decent right side to the lien and some receivers with seperation... I just think public opinion is going against him, rather than with Shurmur.

So how can RB's that supposed can't run the ball according to you average over 4 yards per carry because they aren't Corey Dillon or Smith who you apparently think was good for some bizarre reason.

Bill doesn't have his Camera setup like he did before.

There is a reason he was a shit coach for the Browns.

The Patriots were at their best when they could pressure the QB.They dont have anyone who can do that.As soon as they get some, this defense will be a whole lot better.

The Patriots secondary is basically the Giants secondary. Except without the Dline to make up for it.

Got to see most of the first half of the Steeler game while carving pumpkins. Missed the second half. Psyched that they won today, as usually Tammy has her way with us.

Because they were two backs who simply pounded the ball up the middle. Our offense was tailored differently at that time and both of those players did what we needed to. I think BJGE is similar to them and certainly more bold than Maroney. Our rushing production is pretty close to the same pace as it was last season.
