NFL 2013 Week 13 |OT| Guns of the Patriots

That's the only way he could have finished that play because of how his body was positioned. Only other option was lowering the helmet which would clearly be a penalty. No way Cam (the real Cam) was aiming for the helmet on that hit.

Doesn't matter if he was aiming or not, if he contacts the helmet of a QB, it should be a penalty.

I don't like it either, but thems the rules. Goodell's America

Did the old one have ios7 on it? If so it pretty much bricked the system. Switching to Surface out of anger.

Yeah ios7 really slowed it down. I wouldn't say bricked, but it lost A LOT of smoothness. My dad doesn't care. He's switching from a barely functional iPad 1 and he just uses the tablet to surf the web, check scores and read emails. But I can see a power user getting pissed.

drew brees says this is bullshit. if you touch the QB the flag comes out case closed!

Skyfall was eye candy. Some of the plot was nonsense, but goddamn was it gorgeous to look at. Top 10, easy. But Casino Royale is the Bond movie to beat.

Go Hawks. Happy birthday, Russell!

Roger Deakins is a badmotherfucker but Sam Mendes is a hack ass bitch.

Dude ripped off like 10 movies in Skymall. Cheap ass shit eat my culo Sam Mendez.

Only half-good thing was Adele's theme song but even that has no hook and ugh jesus you kids these days.

I agree with the hipster. The only thing that saves Skyfall from being straight-up trash is the visual eyecandy. Everything else in that movie is basura.

Casino Royale iz tha bidness tho

Can't figure why Mariotta keeps getting put in top 5s. Dude throws lollipops and makes bad decisions. He's like Maziel: JFF can't solve LSU, Mariota can't solve Stanford. JFF lights up Bama, Mariota lights up Wazzu

Every time I've watched Mariota, he's looked like shit. But maybe he looks really good when they're beating up patsies.

That's just bionic, who has proven that his tastes are dubious every time Jordan comes up. Bond is king. Casino royale and Skyfall are awesome, but Quantum was mediocre.

Still, Connery>Craig>Lazenby>Moore

You're alright. Hopefully bionic grows out of his terrible taste once his realizes there's more to life than being a hotshot lawyer in his 20's with a hot wife that runs his life.

I'll send him the Russell Wilson jersey once he's ready.

At the risk of derailing this thread (who am I kidding its always offtopic in here): I'm a dirty poor so all things considered, should I get the 3DS or a Wii U?

Right now I'd get a 3DS (or a 2DS if you dont care about 3D). Its cheaper and has a larger library plus it can play DS games.

3DS is the best console around.

Get that if you want the best.

Also Casino Royale was good but to me not as good as the Bourne movies it was influenced by. The other new Bond movies were not as good. And I fucking loved Bond movies growing up but get real if you don't then they aren't mostly dated as fuck. I can still watch prime Connery but Moore especially seems full of cheese (and I loved those as a kid).

The team Fisher took over in 2012, after he returned to the NFL following one year off, was the youngest group he'd ever coached, as the Rams fielded the youngest roster in the league. They got even younger this season.

Twenty-four of the 53 players on St. Louis' roster are 24 or younger, and 28 are rookies or first- or second-year players. Conversely, just 15 guys remain from the pre-Fisher/Les Snead era. This year's group took the Seattle Seahawks to the wire last month, has won four of its last seven games and is coming off resounding victories over the playoff-contending Indianapolis Colts and Chicago Bears. Better yet, the players are developing an identity.
---
In the seven games since (SF), the Rams have rushed for 1,063 yards on 217 carries (4.9-yard average), posted 24 sacks, eight forced fumbles and 11 interceptions, and seen their special teams become a legitimate strength, which, Fisher explained, is as important as anything: "We'll have the whole team in the meeting room and have them watch the special-teams effect, and the Jake Longs of the team get to see the effort, and (it) pulls things together for everyone."
---
"And the other side of it is they don't know any different, they really don't, when they look at the matchups," Fisher said, building on the thought. "But yeah, it does help. Last year, we were 4-1-1 (in the division), and this year, we're not quite there, but we played Seattle pretty well and beat Arizona. I actually think everyone's getting better in our division. The question is, who's getting older? It's certainly not us."

I didn't want to have a seizure so no CR wasn't influenced by Bourne.

Bionic you do know that:
1. Casino Royale is decades old
2. Was pitched by Tarantino before being sterilized by the studio
3. You're right about the other Bond movies they are unwatchable peasant-class flith.

Kisses, baby.

Nothing but kisses.

I'm with you on Mariotta, but maybe I'm missing something. I know he's been hurt as of late, but let me know when he fits a ball into a tight window with some anticipation. Guys are running loose all day for the Ducks, lots playaction sucking up LB/S which makes for easier throws.

To me it's Bridgewater and bunch of ???? Can't comment on Carr, only watched him twice and one of the games happened to be a bowl.

I hope all these guys got in the top half of the draft, push down the better talent!

Intresting approach. It seems like we have been pretty fortunate with injuries outside of Bradford and this seems like a big part of it

The only unit on the team that is old is the offensive line, and they have taken injuries. But they have finally developed depth there. Have to give credit to Boudreau for taking Shelly Smith, Chris Williams and Joe Barksdale, all castoffs, and making them functional starters. People said it was nuts to carry 12 offensive linemen on the roster, but that is what you have to do. Just can't be going to street FAs when you lose offensive linemen, which is what they were doing from 2009-2012

And yeah, getting younger solved the injury issues they had been having, though also moving on from guys like Amendola and SJAX, guys who just couldn't stay healthy, is also part of it. As much as I want to keep Saffold, I think they will let him walk. It also makes you wonder about Bradford, who could be called injury prone, and whether him being back in 2013 is all talk. Though I'm 95% sure he will be their starter in 2014 the way they talk about that being "their year"

Won't be as easy as last time for sure. That was one of the most brutal running performances I've seen this year

Bowman destroyed the Rams that game. Had 3 tackles for loss and his only sacks on the year. The Rams learned they couldn't run with Daryl Richardson, or run from the spread when Austin and Cook couldn't keep their blocks. They also were getting abused in the interior line by very basic stunts and twists. Running the ball slowed down all that b/c teams have to stay honest vs a legitimate run threat

Edit: He and Manziel have similar problems, they can't put the ball on a guy when they face tight man to man coverage.

The style of CR feels like a copy of Bourne. Don't know the backstory just telling it like it is brah.

And I liked the movie I just like Bourne better (the first 3 no plan on seeing the new stuff). This new style of Bond is much better than the last few shit movies with Brosnan (though I loved Goldeneye). They just need a better story. The story in Royale was actually good. I like the new Bond and things can only get better now that his cunt boss died in the home alone shoot out.

Carr was making tight window throws today in the first half at least. Then for some reason got skittish and went to all dump offs. Manziel is more accurate than Marriota but I would be scared to take him in the first round. I have said before that I don't see top end QB talent in the draft. Could be a great WR draft, which makes me happy

CR benefited heavily from the source novel where Fleming had Bond as a fallible introspective agent whose arrogance fucked him over more than not rather than gadget wielding quip machine I normally associate with bond films.
