Watching those GTA V streams, all I can think of is a constant repeat of "how?!?!?!".
Can't think of a digital achievement in entertainment that has ever impressed me as much.
The lighting. The water simulation. The weather. The draw distance. The sounds. The variety. The sense of scale.

Not sure what version I'm watching, but I think the 360 version looks just as good from what I gathered in that thread.
I don't think JFF has a future in the NFL. Terrible footwork, questionable decision making, stares down receivers, etc. He's too small to rely solely on his athleticism.

Yeah, but that's only part of it. You can sense the sheer amount of work put into this game in every corner. Which is the main reason why I think few games will be able to compete with it in some regards in the near future. The same way you didn't see as many different textures in a game for years after Shenmue, simply because no one was crazy enough to spend all that money on the time needed to make them.
Count me as another who can't get into college football.
If I have absolutely nothing to do on a Saturday I still don't watch it. I don't know what it is but even watching the top teams against each other I just feel like the product is lesser.

I agree 100%, but he dropped it pretty nicely in there. In the NFL though... that's probably incomplete.
Saban is the devil, but at least his offense resembles something functional. That was a great set.

A&M's defense sucks.
No disputing that throw was perfect. 95 yards, 40 through the air. The problem with bad mechanics is two-fold. First, it leads to inaccuracy, unless, of course, you can replicate it every throw. But that leads to, two, it can cause injuries. Different sport, but take a look at Tim Lincecomb.

He'll definitely get a shot, no question about it. Remember folks, Pat White was a second round pick.
Manziel's arm strength isn't as bad as some claim, but he makes it worse with the way he uses the rest of his balance. At this point he's just an offensive weapon, an effective one at that but it won't translate at the next level unless he cleans up the way he throws. You basically have to reign in a lot of what makes him what he is.
