There's nothing really "wrong" with rooting for two teams, it's just not something most hardcore fans find tenable. There's a different level of devotion when you're living and dying with every win and loss, and it doesn't project to being a "two-teamer".

So true. I've always taken my 12th Man duties seriously. But the crowd right after the decline was fucking brutal. Shawn Alexander raised the 12th man flag, and I jokingly said to my old man that the last time he was there he was booed off the field.

But, there's a pretty big difference between Hawks fair weather fans and Sounders fans. I went to a few games, mostly when the Timbers were there, and they are die hard true fans. There's a very clear divergence of both age and culture at the games.

So, don't go shitting on that.
