NFL 2013 Week 4 IOTI - For a good time call Sweet Pea

It's pretty clear that Me, Tom Penny, Sanjuro, Milchjon (in his heart) and Bread are the only true Bostonian Patriots fans.

Gata is close too. <3

Also, I love that there is a city called Kalamazoo.

Does anyone know anything about Tom Penny? He comes by, trolls, posts pics of food and leaves.

He's probably Gronk. Or Belichick.

the "rich" people you met are out side of your trailer park and think olive garden is fine dining

the property i will inherit in michigan from my moms side can be sold to buy the entire state of Colorado. not that i would spend money on that hick hole, but why would you care when you can just drive your mobile home to another hill when the civilization comes knocking

Oh boy.

Smh. I guess going to high school in Boston makes me less of a Bostonian than a drunk German.

All the rich people I've ever met barely flash their wealth, maybe except for owning a nice house. In fact, the few that I have met that have a lot of money are enormous penny pinchers.

Richest dude I've met once told me that the amount of money a person has is directly proportional to how hard they work. Yep, he told me that in %100 percent of cases a person with more money than another person works harder than that person. I pretty much assume this is how Lunchbox thinks

I'd eat at Olive Garden. No shame in that.

I'll admit, I do have a modest home. I didn't over build for the size of my family, and when my girls are done with school, my wife and I will probably downsize. I'm pretty happy, even if it is a crappy old trailer in hickville ;)

No offense but what else can you spend money on in North Dakota?

The NBA is going to have nicknames on the back of their jerseys? I knew David Stern was retiring, but I had no idea Vince McMahon was next in line.

Popping around some XFL vid and articles.

Found this interesting bit

Players will be reimbursed for travel expenses and lodging as are all free agents in NFL camps. Young isn"t sure how many XFL players could make it in the NFL, where minimum rookie salaries are $193,000. XFL players earned $45,000 base salaries, except for quarterbacks ($50,000) and kickers ($35,000). The XFL also paid game bonuses.

This was 2001, whats the rookie min now?

http://www.steelersdepot.com/2011/07/2011-2014-nfl-minimum-base-salaries/

Is what it is now

I'd rather live in a condo in the city than a big house in the middle of nowhere.

Depends. I've done both. If you're single you're definitely right but I like living around friends in the burbs and having bonfires, drinking, playing cards and not worrying about who's driving or spending money on bar tabs.

Michigasshole doesn't have the same ring to it.
since youre a euro, heres the 101

even though new england is the most developed part of the country its sad but true that Mass is the new york of the region. thats why Kraft wanted to move to Connecticut but settled outside of boston. its the most filthy and overpopulated state out of the six. Downtown boston is almost as dirty as manhattan. when you get a standing ground in your life and want a better future for your kids so they dont turn into like midwestern flyover state goobs like chan you move to the peripheral states, they act like suburbs.

New hampshire and vermont if you like to distance yourself like sanjuro
Maine if youre a hillbilly like Tom penny
Connecticut if you can afford it

due to the the high taxes and living costs associated with living in those states people you get to keep away people like bionic and godslay from your neighborhoods who bring the olive gardens and tacobells with them if you let them in. thats why they hate the Pats

Lots and lots of trips to Olive Garden.

Seriously though. I really don't buy much. I'll buy a game or two a month. Go out to dinner a couple of times a month, go golfing etc. I just bought a new couch a couple of weeks ago. Just save money really.

I'll probably move to back Wyoming when my folks get old enough, and my kids are out of school. 10 - 15 years from now. Buy a place in the mountains, grow old. Just came to NoDak to be around my wife's family and help take care of her grandparents eventually.

Was hoping you would just say "hookers and booze". You disappoint me.

^^^ good lawd

The Nate Burleson news blows. He wasn't a world beater or anything, but he is a solid receiver and an amazing influence on the team with his actions in the locker room. That means Broyles and Durham will play opposite Calvin. Broyles is a good slot and Durham just isn't there yet. And I can't count on Reggie because he is a china doll. Guess this just means more work outta Joique!!

Different people like different things. I recently told a good friend of mine that I got really used to living in a big city. His answer: "What does a big city have to offer that Amazon doesn't?"

"@MoveTheSticks: Kaepernick did miss a couple of easy throws while on the move. ...other than that, not many places to go with the ball."

And in bad news:

"@MaioccoCSN: WRs Kyle Williams, Marlon Moore and Quinton Patton are wearing their 49ers jersey tops. Jon Baldwin is in a scout team jersey."

Awesome. More Kyle fucking Williams.

If I was a Niners fan i'd be more concerned about the disappearance of your defense.

I can't drink like I used to. Twelver of Coors just about killed me the morning after opening night. I had way too much fun that night. Switched back to Fat Tire as the staple.

Last Cards game of the season I will get to go to tonight. Fortunately we are going deep into the playoffs again. Shame we don't really have the starting pitching necessary to win the series. Still the best offense in baseball though

Eh, to a degree I guess, but I don't know how you can say that about the offense considering how horrible they've looked for two straight weeks. The offense was giving them absolutely no breaks in either the Seattleor Indy games. Just a collection of short drive shit with no points. The defense was pretty good against GB I thought - 28 points on 12 drives or whatever it was isn't bad against that team.
