That's because they're the worst.

They are the Britta of the NFL

I'll take it. She always was the hotter girl.

I heard that Tom Brady is so handsome, the Patriots had to destroy all mirrors at Gilette, because when he looks into his own eyes a handsome-vortex will destroy the entire universe. It's also unfair to the competition, because they usually fall in love when they see him out on the field.

I have a couple hours to bite on this fantasy trade.

I would trade Matt Ryan and Ray Rice for CJ Spiller.

This seems like a rough trade on paper, but I have Peyton as my primary QB, and Matt Ryan is doing nothing for me on the bench. Couldn't get much for him on the open market.

I know there's a fantasy thread somewhere but I couldn't find it = (

Yes/no?

So Rice for Spiller? I'd rather have Rice just b/c of injuries

Honestly, thats kind of the attitude you want your defense to have. I was watching one of those NFL Films docus and John Randle was talking about Brett Favre and how he saw him as just another guy on the field to be stopped. Thats how the Vikings approached a then great Packers team and beat them. By not accepting that they were simply unbeatable.

It's a great way to think, but saying it the way they do just leaves for bulletin board material, not that I think Manning needs that stuff anyways, he just goes about his work.

I mean, when Spiller is healthy, he gets tons of touches. The Ravens ran 50 passes and 9 rushes in the last game, and you can say that's because they were behind, but that's LUDICROUS, and they're going to be behind a lot. = P

Plus Rice has been injured, too...

Freeman comin' for Fraudgers job:

Packers running backs coach Alex Van Pelt was Freeman’s position coach in Tampa Bay in 2010 and 2011, and said “No doubt” when asked whether Freeman could still be an NFL starter.

“I loved Josh,” Van Pelt said, via Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com. “Josh and I had a good working relationship. He was nothing but a pro when I was there with him. He was never late for meetings. We actually had 6:30 [a.m.] quarterback meetings; we were an hour before anybody else, and I never had an issue or anything like that. He did everything that I asked him to do.

“He was a great teammate, watched him work around the other guys and had a lot of respect for him. I don’t know what happened, but I know the guy that I was there with I really enjoyed being with.”

It's not easy either way. Rice will be the feature guy when he's healthy, and they will throw to him. Spiller would seem to have a higher ceiling

Wes, you're gonna be the hook at the Vegas NFL-Age meetup. You'll go find some group of girls at the club, bring them back, and I'll pretend to be your British friend.

In exchange for some money to spend on the tables, sure.

Wes just needs to go and ask the Women one thing:

How much do you hate Birmingham City ?

Heck, if they've even seen a proper football match and not felt the urge to switch channels I'll consider myself on to a winner.

It works if you have the talent and skill to do it. Do the Cowboys? Possibly. The problem they have is the defensive scheme they run.

Not completely untrue. Look at who they have played.

Well they are beating the teams they put in front of them. Not squeakers either. Should beat less talented teams like that, but yeah the teams we've played haven't been good so far.

Well, if we have a table we won't even need you. We'll be swimming in table-chasers. Maybe you can sweet talk a waitress into a free bottle or something.

Wasn't a knock on the Broncos. Can only play the teams you are scheduled to play but yeah, it is true.

This video...

a) It's kinda hilarious how they show a female fan all the way through the "A handy guide for those who need a boost in their football IQ" part.

b) It's fucking stupid how they still love to highlight celebrations that aren't even allowed anymore. I will never understand why they'd ban any kind of celebration. It's an incredibly slow game between the actual plays anyway, what difference do a few seconds more or less make. It's entertainment.

Outside of MLS, World Cup Matches, and a few key games they really don't do a good job showing soccer here.

Doesn't help that the term Football makes people nationalistic here.
