NFL 2014 Week 12 |OT| - Matt Stafford vs. the World

Suite Pee

Willing to learn
To the people who root for NFC teams.

Would you rather be the #3 seed and host a pretty good #6 seed. Or would you rather be the #5 seed and have to play on the road... but against a NFC South team?

Unsure. Lambeau is a good advantage, but we'd pick apart Falcons and Panthers (the latter for the second time). The Saints are too much of a threat at home.

As a Cowboys fan, I'd rather play the Lions at home than the Saints on the road

Honestly if our home record wasn't so good, I think I rather be on the road vs NFC South then play against Lions/Seahawks/Niners/Cowboys/Eagles/Packers (One of these is going to be 6th seed unless Cardinals take a huge dump.).

found this, although it doesn't show the pass interference

best catch of the year. 2nd was Hopkins
that didn't count

It'll be one of those random lucky play, whoever wins the turnover differential type games.

Gronk will slay us, Rodgers will probably make hay with Cobb on crossing routes.

Just thought about Brad Jones trying to cover Gronk...lol
If Brad Jones is already on the field, we're already toast. It could be 50 year old Shannon Sharpe and he would still get beat. (and then miss the tackle)

BTW, Brad Jones was on the field for the last Vikings drive. I don't know why.

Meaningless game. If it were up to me we'd sit all of our starters. Can't muster up any give-a-fuck. Not even going to watch it.
Counterpoint: There's no chance in hell that this Packers team is winning 3 road games in 3 weeks to make the Super Bowl.

There's an outside chance we can win 2 games in 2 weeks to make it though!

Just got back from the Giants game.

My family has season tickets in the section right behind the visitor's bench, and it was at least 2/3 full of Cowboys fans. The stadium had good energy during the first half, but when things started turning sour in the third and fourth quarter, it was kinda crushing to be surrounded by cheers for the visiting team.

I'm glad it was at least a close game, but this was a frustrating loss. There are too many holes on this team for them to play a complete game, and any decent team can exploit those holes eventually. Without a fundamentally sound offensive line or front seven, it's going to be hard to win.

Argh.

Man still can't believe the pats lucked their way into Ayers. He's been awesome. Hightower looks way way better than that over rated Mayo. Hes been surprisingly good in coverage. Collins is looking good.WTF happened to Chung? He looks like a really solid in the box safety. I think this may be the pats best defense since 04 which is sad. After next weeks game I'll know for sure. Jones should be back for the playoffs. Once they get him this defense will be legit.

It seems that a complete Lion implosion is the best chance for the Cowboys to get into the playoffs

I'd rather root against another team but hey, what're you gonna do

Chrono Trigger is amazing. I'm sure most here know that but so far everything about the game is brilliant. Taking my sweet time with it and enjoying every moment. Best game I've played in a long time.

Fun fact: it's actually impossible for the Lions to beat the Seahawks in tie breakers now. Which means Lions fans should be rooting against the Seahawks in all games, especially when they face the 49ers (so that the Niners can eliminate them based on head-to-head).

After getting hurt at Cleveland, Mallett practiced all week. He was 21-of-45 for 189 yards. His passes were off target compared to Cleveland

Mallett suffered the pectoral injury at Cleveland. He was on injury report with a chest injury as probable and didn't miss a down.

Mallett is one tough SOB to play with an injury to a pectoral muscle, especially on the right side, which is his throwing side.

If the MRI shows a tear in Mallett's pectoral muscle, he could miss several games. The bottom line is that Ryan Fitzpatrick is likely back.

Mallett underwent treatment a long time after the game, and when he was asked if he was hurt, he flexed his right hand and said no.

Mallett played hurt through the game, which explains why he was so off target compared to the win at Cleveland.

Mallett played with an injury to his right pectoral muscle, will undergo an MRI and could be lost for several weeks.

Kid played with a torn pectoral muscle on his right side. Takes guts.

What the hell.

I dunno what to think now. He didn't look great but was it because of this? I don't think so but maybe? =\

That first time playing Chrono Trigger feeling... if only I can go back and feel it again.

Fuuuuuuuuuck. Football players getting injured sucks. Explains the inaccuracy too. Totally and completely. God I hope it's not too bad. I hope Mallet gets more chances to prove himself, we need him. This is a contract year too. FUCK!
What the hell.

Yeah it does. The further you extend your arm the more that sob hurts. If he compensated by releasing early his release point would be way higher than usual. I don't know how an earlier release point affects the throws horizontally as a few of his throws were behind too but I wouldn't doubt it.

This news gave me a headache and drained most of my energy. I'm going to sleep.

Niners would beat you on tie breakers too since they beat you week 1. So you should also root for their implosion!

The Niners beating the Seahawks would be bad for the Cowboys.

NFC west isn't getting 3 teams. There's too many games between them all in the next 5 weeks. So Detroit imploding would almost guarantee 2 from the NFC East
