Seriously though that was a fugly win but I'll take it. Glad we came back and all that but the Jets are a garbage team so I'm still thinking this season could get ugly quick.

A tough interception and a key wr gets injured.

Jets couldn't get the run game going as well.

I could deal with a loss but to get so blatantly fucked by the refs is insane.

I've read being able to blame someone else for your failures greatly reduces the risk of suicide, so I support your insane beef with the wrong party.

I didn't see the replay - how did the defense react to the whistle?

I know I heard it on the stream live, but I was looking more for a flag in the backfield and wasn't paying attention

Seriously stop blaming the fucking refs.

Jets choked it. Blame Marty, Rex, Geno, the defense whoever the fuck you want really. But it ain't on the refs.

BTW, the fact that Austin fucking Davis just went 22/29 for 235 should confirm 2 things: 1) Bucs D still sucks and 2) Sam Bradford should not be in a Rams jersey next year

I guess you gotta get your cocky posts out of the way early before the Panthers do their usual crash and burn at the end.

Reading the transcripts of the Cardinals players, they stpeak about how deflated the Giants were after that punt return for a TD. Sad.

One of the benefits of being at the game is that I can put the binoculars on the sideline after a big play is made to watch the reaction of players and coaches. Lately, it’s become a trend to where when something goes wrong, the players have that “Oh no, here we go again!” look of disbelief on their faces.

There’s not enough anger, and there’s not enough passion being shown. Opponents are starting to see this, and it’s disturbing. Just take a look at some of what the Cardinals players had to say about the Giants.

Linebacker Larry Foote: “You want to hold the team down. We do not want to be kicking ourselves or having self-inflicted wounds with some of the plays that they had… mentally.”

Return specialist Ted Ginn, on if he saw the Giants’ body language change after he scored the go-ahead score: “I mean, yeah. You can tell that on their side of the ball, on the New York side, it kind of went down.”

When the opponent sees the air go out of the bubble, that's not a very good sign for a team moving forward.

So basically another season of "Shit goes bad, get deflated."

For those that haven't watched the jets before let me tell you one thing.

Geno is soooo much better than Sanchez. Better in the pocket and he has a stronger arm than Sanchez ever did.

14-2 in our last 16 games breh!

Ron Rivera morphed into Vince Lombardi.

We are all Niners fans tonight friend.

Nooooo shit.

I feel like Packers and Lions fans are like Jamie and Tyrion Lannister from Game of Thrones.

Everyone loves Jamie even though he fucks his sister on the reg and throws kids off of buildings and is an asshole with a heart of gold. Everyone just feels bad for Tyrion and want him to just get ONE fucking win.

And the bears are Cersei. Everyone hates her, even her brothers.

lol rex ryan says it definitely wasn't him who called the TO? isn't there a video of him calling a timeout? who was that video of?

rex is actually directly behind the ref. completely out of his view. marty is storming down the line calling a TO. whether or not the ref knew that rex was behind him at all, who knows

Seahawks ran 36 plays... well 21 points on 36 plays isn't bad.

Damn but we need at least 50 to 60....

in an odd way, scoring so fast hurt them because the chargers were just wearing down their D. that is too long for any team to be on the field under regular circumstances but you throw in how hot it is out here PLUS the chargers were running the pseudo-hurry up so the seahawks couldn't sub.... that is pretty insane

Panthers beat those "trash" Bucs by one late game fumble. Calm down, son.

Other thoughts:

-Congrats on the Bills 2-0 start LJ, though I doubt it'll last.
-Cincinnati could be the best team in the AFC IF they can consistently get touchdowns in the red zone. Those Nugent misses may have been the best thing to happen to them this year: really got their asses in gear and starting putting it in the endzone. Big setback if Green misses significant time though.

oh. i just briefly saw that vid on the SNF broadcast and they viewed in but i couldn't tell. can the OC not call for a timeout?

Correct. So not only should the whistle have blown, the Jets should've been assessed a 15 yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.

Refs fucked the Packers but the Packers were able to overcome. Heart of Champion.

Mike on that TO play: "It's football. Stuff happens all the time."

True enough. Shit happens. Jets gotta keep it movin' and take it to the Bears next week, end of story. We didn't run the ball all fucking afternoon. Nelson dropped 200 yards on us. Fuck the timeout.
