The average passer rating over the past 10 years is in the low 80s. This year's number is absurdly high right now and I would bet it will come down over the second half of the season.
And I'm not arguing that Foles has been good this season, just that he's not alone in struggling as a young QB.
I understood your argument, my fault if I conveyed otherwise. I was just trying to point out that Brady's numbers do not really translate to this era, he was still above average in most statistical categories. That is not to say he did not have struggles as a young QB, most young QBs are going to struggle. I just thought it was unfair to compare the numbers from early 2000's to Foles' numbers now.
