I went bowling at a casino with my brother this past summer after we decided to cut our losses at the table. So we drank and bowled. Turns out I suck.

I used to bowl a lot in college with a bunch of friends. Funnily enough they were all friends who loved anime. I guess I had the rare sort of anime friends who werent basement dwellers and actually were willing to get out the house and do something. Man College was fun.

I remember when I wanted the Bills to draft Michael Huff. I was torn between him and Vernon Davis. What a fool I was.

Bills picked Donte Whitner (!!) that year.

It's fun to be in a position where our drafts actually matter to the success of our team now. I mean, sure butt face Browns get our #1 pick this year, but hey at least we're not the NFLs farm club any more!

I really dont like the short schedule Thursday night game after a Sunday night. With all talk of player safety that gives the players very little time to recuperate and prepare for the next game. We won both but thats besides the point. Its a ridiculous schedule.

Eh. You can get a broken bone or a concussion just as easy after a month of rest as on four day rest. The hamstrings, ACL tears and everything that maybe have something to do with lack of rest aren't affected by four days versus six day unless the player tries to hide injuries and strains.

at the very least then a team playing late night sunday should have a home game on Thursday. I mean the Saints had to travel to Carolina on Thursday and its just kind of a stupid disadvantage to make a team do that. Not to mention the Saints have had to travel on the road for every Thursday night game. We dont get home ones.

Dad woke up this morning and he's like "good win but relying too much on one back"
I basically said to him, we have three good RBs but they are injured. I mean seriously, injuries happen and players have to step up. We are relying on Ingram now and its true he is carrying the offense a lot at the moment but he stepped up when the other two backs went down. Its not like we bet completely on Ingram to start. But my Dad is never happy either.

Win is a win. Ingram is doing great while PT and Robinson heal up.

Definitely.
This team needs to keep feeding the rungame and the defense appears to be an opportunistic one. We have some tools that will help win road games as long as we can avoid these stupid turnovers.

I got grudge sucked!
Saints win two in a row? INcluding on the road? If its not April Fools Day, then it must be Halloween.

Hopefully Duke can beat Pitt and it can be a good football weekend. Seems like a long time since both my teams won on the same weekend

Amazing how much difference 4 days makes.

CB DeAngelo Hall, who tore his Achiles last month and underwent surgery to repair it, tore it again this week and will have to redo surgery.

How do you tear your Achilles when you're still recovering from surgery that you had after you tore your Achilles?

I didn't really see any of the game last night, was it as ugly as the box score looks? Getting blown out at home by the Saints, who typically just cower into a ball and sob when they're playing on the road, has got to be a new low for Carolina.

I don't think there is a shame towel big enough to cover up after a 35% completion percentage (!) against one of the worst passing defenses in the league.

Cam's receivers are creating little separation and the rare times they've come free have resulted in bunches of bad throws and drops. O-line is beat up, d-line is soft, secondary is bad... It's not a pretty scene in Carolina. I feel for my Panthers-bros.

The only upside to yesterday is that they can't possibly lose Sunday and ruin my Sunday too.

As for the Quarterback, he's been awful since the Green Bay game. Awful.

I can sit here and throw out numerous excuses (he's definitely not 100% healthy, the offensive line in front of him is Swiss cheese, the running game in large part hasn't existed, the receivers can't get open) but none of that excuses the fact that the Quarterback has not played to the standard of a starting NFL QB in the last few weeks. I'm not going to go nuclear and call for Derek Anderson to replace the Quarterback though...yet.

Cam has two 30 year old, decade old veterans as his two targets, and he's playing with a literal third string OL and broken running backs.

As much as he says its his fault, this is just one of those years that hits teams occasionally. They clearly need to focus on getting some actual talent, but Richardson is adverse to that. Cam would be better off just going to another team, tbh.

A lot of weapons up in Buffalo right now.

Buffalo would be pretty solid with Cam. So... no.

Seriously though, Grover is right. He's been awful. Worst stretch of his career, I'd say.

Cam Newton is Rob Johnson.

I feel like the people still claiming "it;s everyone around him at fault!!!" aren't actually watching the throws he is making, the adjustments he is failing to make, the reads he is flat whiffing on and the lack of awareness in the pocket. That fumble on the goal line? What the fuck? Oblivious.

Best team in the NFC has to be Green Bay right? I'd probably put the Saints in second. Dallas and Detroit are paper tigers if I've ever seen one and Arizona is only really impressive in that they're winning consistently.

San Fran and Seattle have both fallen off a bit and the NFC South is obviously a dumpster fire outside of New Orleans. Who's left? I guess Philly is looking alright but I feel like Foles is going to greatly hamper their potential come playoff time.

NFC has 7 teams with a positive point differential to 11 in the AFC, and it feels like no one in the NFC is really dominant like the Broncos and Pats have been. AFC is just nuts, all four teams in the North with winning records, 3 out of 4 in the East and West... Lots of playoff contenders as well as a couple teams that look elite.

Crazy year so far!

Yeah, there are 6 teams in the AFC better than Arizona (the best NFC team) and I don't even think that's particularly debatable. No matter who you put on top of the NFC, Denver, KC, Indy, Baltimore and Rivers are better. New England probably also.

The NFC has four teams that are all interchangeable at the top in Arizona, Philly, Seattle and Dallas.

Crazy how hard the Panthers have come crashing back down to earth. They've won one of their last seven...

There's always at least one team every year that won big the year before (usually based on having a shitty schedule the year previous) and once they get a 1st place schedule the wheels come off.

The Panthers are definitely topping that list this year, and the Chiefs are likely #2 on that list.

And don't forget the Seachickens
