Chargers and Rams is about to be a done deal

I for one welcome the next twenty years of hearing "build me a new stadium or the team will move to St. Louis!" from owners. Its going to be real delightful.

Why is this clip keep been posted missing the first second of this?, where the Bengal player does a slight shove on the Steelers Coach?,

Where?

This isn't any player btw. This is Reggie Nelson, who was voted by his teammates and coaches as a Captain and Leader of the team, and he had his hair grabbed by another man.

At 1-2 seconds I'm personally thinking this could potentially be an accident he doesn't mean it etc. But to grab on as long as he did, fuck that.

Mike Munchak is a 55 year old 9x Pro Bowler, who has been a head coach in the past.

Just like Joey Porter, he knows exactly what he's doing.

The game really wasn't the same once Reggie Nelson went out in the 2nd QTR and that's just an observation. He's a Captain for a reason, and it seemed like the Bengals defensive players lost that leadership when he left the game hurt.

Plenty of owners are uneasy with the idea of LA as a two-team market. It's the financial reality of the situation pushing it as one.

I hope this whole move blows up in their frace

I was listening to 1090 (San Diego area) this morning and the host seem in his argument that the owner didn't want no part of San Diego anymore. In his voice it felt like he wanted to use the tank to leave words. Truthfully San Diego area needs a new Stadium and location. CT can back me up om this but the stadium is awful to get in and exiting.

Yeah the stadium is total trash, they should just knock it down and rebuild, maybe a smaller venue because it's not a big area to build something and avoid the clusterfuck of traffic it creates.

If owners can reach a deal today on LA between #Rams & #Chargers, it would likely be "in principle." Much negotiating to be done.

The expectation is for the Inglewood site with 2nd team option. First going to Chargers, then Raiders. Lots of moving parts.

Key for @NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell: How to make sure the #Raiders are happy. Sounds like #Chargers able to join #Rams in Inglewood

More fluid "news": Don't know how this'll end up but appears at this point #Chargers have "option" to pursue vote in San Diego.

Word is that option for #Chargers to receive conditional approval to move & give San Diego another try is on table. Chargers have been resistant to that solution. They don't believe they'll get public money in SD and would then trail Rams in LA.

#Chargers began preparing months ago for contingency they'd have to give SD another try. If that happens, plan to do own citizens initiative

Rams fans on my TL are so hurt. It's sad for real. I think somehow they thought the owners would do the right thing and not let Kroenke move the Rams

I think Coughlin is probably my 2nd choice for 49ers HC after Hue Jackson, since it sounds like we're out of the Jackson sweepstakes. Definitely prefer him over Kelly. I'd like Dirk Koetter too, but I'm willing to bet he gets the Buccaneers job.

Dear nfl gaf- just wanted to say that lurking in these threads has nurtured my soul during my recent nine or so month ban. Doubt anyone knows or remembers me but I was a semi regular bad poster in NFL gaf for a while.

Now that I'm unbanned my goal is to be more thoughtful, mature, and well reasoned like Tabris, as articulate as Gata and as realistic about my team as Kas.

Oh and I never had a team really but since I live in ohio I will jump on the bandwagon and be counted with the Browns fans.

Gotta wonder if expansion is brought up in the future. I know this is too much to ask for but if new owners and cities are willing to start building slightly smaller stadiums then maybe they could sustain a football team.
