I got a concussion in 8th grade playing basketball where I don't remember going home with my parents after playing the rest of the game or the rest of my night. Definitely scary.
Smith? He would be "promoted" not fired. Somehow the McNairs are smitten with him. He is the god father to Cal McNairs kids.
There is a rift there . Someone at BRB pointed out : Rahim Moore and Garrett Graham were both Rick Smith signings. Both been inactive lately
Some rumblings also that Mallett was not an O'Brien choice. To sign or start him

IMO, its just another power play move to remove Rick Smith form his position. Gaine is already in the front office and is O'briens guy for new GM if stories are true. Oddly enough Chip tried to hire Gaine for the "GM spot" with the Eagles and the Texans blocked it.

I had a concussion my freshman year of college. Was biking home from class, and I guess someone in the opposite lane tried to go around someone else and smacked into me head-on. I still have no memory of the 24-48 hour span from that accident on, but apparently I was conscious and responding/conversing with people.

Just seemed odd to me that he didnt just say no, the whole I am not going to comment on that seems silly to me. I guess if he wins the division with no QB they will have to give him more power if that is what he is angling for.
To be fair, Rahim Moore and Garret Graham haven't been very good at football this year. But you're right about the McNairs and their infatuation with Rick Smith.

Moore is mediocre at his best. We've discussed this going back to his signing.
Just sounds like a mess, Texans need solidarity top to bottom. It never seems like they get it with HC/GM/Owner always a squabble between the three.
No they haven't but both were Smith signings. Graham was retained right when O'Brien was hired and Smith openly stated Moore was his signing.
Never been a fan of GM by committee approach. Need one person making all final decisions. As Bill Parcells said "If you are asking me to make dinner at least let me pick the groceries."
With the Raiders playing at Detroit this Sunday, it's only going to get worse for Oakland.

Can work both ways. It can also backfire to some degree when the GM isn't good long term like Shanahan in the twilight of his career.

But I did have a heat stroke once playing football in 8th grade. I vomited and then fell down unconscious, it was the weirdest feeling ever because that split second before you fall you feel like you have zero control of your body. Plus I also felt a little chill even though it was like 500 degrees in Florida that day. I woke up in the hospital and had IVs and shit flowing through me. I did not realize how fatal these things can be until after I woke up and they explained what happened because I was knocked the fuck out.
It was pretty scary, but I like to tell people that story because how many people get to go through a heat stroke and tell about it! (I'm guessing most people survive them but fuck you, I'm cool!)

Since Aldon isn't eligible until week 10 of next season how are the Raiders going to go about with him? In all honesty, he was coming back into football shape just these past couple weeks and played pretty well. I'd resign him but we need another OLB especially with Neiron Ball out and that fuck Ray Ray hasn't been sent to prison yet. Fuck it, bring back Miles Burris.

It's truly vile. Canned tuna is one of the very worst things in the world. It's part of that Family Guy/Jack Johnson/Papyrus font set of intolerable things.

The thing is I think Weeden is better than Cassel. But Weeden has the worst body language and leadership I have seen in someone with that level of ability. You just watch him play and it is so uninspiring. Like he doesn't think he has any chance to win. He really does poorly with pressure, but so does almost every backup
Cassel at least gives off the impression of someone who is confident in himself

It's really fucking good, it feels like an old school RPG but has a lot of modern improvements I wish others would take. Also, the actual environments are basic, partially due to being a PSP game, but the character portraits are my favorite style of art from Japan, very reminiscent of FE7 characters. Also, even though it's long, it's pretty easy to play in chunks, since the game is divided into 5 chapters plus a prologue. I'd highly recommend it

Sounds like we retain contract rights through end of next season now too. Assuming he can keep his nose clean he's still very young and we can sign him long term next year.
Different genre and designers for the new game .. So id be cautious with the hype.
