NFL 2015 Week 15 |OT| - A Fraud’s Misses

Jesus Christ this OBJ shit is a microcosm of OUR FAILING SOCIETY.

It's everyone else's fault. Norman started it. There is too much media pressure. The officials didn't do enough to stop it.

Fine. Let's all stop pretending to care about protecting the players then if we're going to grasp at the thinnest possible straw to defend a guy for going out of his way to use his helmet as a weapon to attempt to knock another guy out.

Pathetic. Here is your participation medal. Grab a cruelty free farm to table no gluten vegan orange on your way out.

The New England Patriots, who have been ravaged by injuries at running back this season, will sign free agent Steven Jackson to a one-year deal Monday, a source told ESPN's Josina Anderson.

Jackson, 32, met with the Patriots on Wednesday and worked out with the team the following day, sources told ESPN last week. He has not played in the NFL since being released by the Atlanta Falcons in February.

Jackson tweeted Monday for the first time since September, posting a photo of himself working out accompanied by the caption, "I'm back."

The first-place Patriots (12-2) used a committee at running back in Sunday's victory over the Tennessee Titans, dividing reps among Brandon Bolden, James White and rookie Joey Iosefa, who was promoted from the practice squad Saturday.

A three-time Pro Bowler, Jackson has rushed for 11,388 yards in parts of 11 seasons with the Falcons and the St. Louis Rams. He previously played for current Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels when the two were both with the Rams.

I'm glad to hear you were able to get some enjoyment out of it at least! Misery loves company so I suppose it makes sense.

I remember being so excited about the Dolphins when Tannehill was drafted and Philbin was brought in. So much young potential and it just felt like the arrow was pointing up. Now it's the complete opposite.

lol yeah I know I felt the same way, I think when Ross extended Philbin last year, deep down I knew this team was destined to the basement.

Christopher I hope you enjoyed my lovely city of San Diego!

Beautiful city...and so many girls...shame you couldn't be there

So according to Kent Sterling of 1430 CBS Sports, Jimmy Irsay had a sit down dinner with Bill Cowher this morning.

It's happening friends

You should call 1430 and demand to know how they had dinner in the morning.

70-73 million, slightly higher than Dez and Julio get but nowhere near Megatron's Albatross contract.

How about: Add 3 years onto the back of his contract at $10M/yr and give him $25M up front? That's in addition to the $15M he's already owed for the next two years, so 5 years, $70M. Sound good? Get Colbert on the phone!

While you're right, gotta keep it in perspective:

Wallace and Bryant (so far) are one trick ponies.
Sanders had talent but underperformed in a Steelers jersey
Markus Wheaton is only just now coming on. Incomplete, need more info.

This is more selfish, but Brown also has a unique opportunity to have a hall of fame caliber career. Do you piss off guys like that?

I think Bryant has proven himself to be less of a one trick pony than Wallace as of late. He's actually starting to run crisper routes, and is less North/South than Wallace with a much better ability to miss tacklers in the open field.

As for Brown, dudes work ethic and productivity is definitely off the charts. My only concern with him, and it's pretty minor considering what he gives us, is the fact that he's starting to become more and more Diva-ish/full of himself with each passing season. I wouldn't be mad if we pay him, cause he definitely deserves a payday - but I wouldn't be mad if we didn't either. I think we're closer to Ben regressing with age than we are of having a lack of offensive weapons.

Whenever you have a sentence that involves the word how and Jim Irsay in it, 99% of the time the answer is always cocaine.

Bryant is the same as Mike, go routes or quick screens. Which is why Bryant should stay with us and be a fantastic #2, no shame in being a great #2 on a winning team instead of chasing money and going down to hurricane land and losing and being the Packers bitch in the -25 minnesota boring winters!

Sounds good to me!

I think i'd be more comfortable with Bryant if he were a better blocker. Wheaton is the best blocking WR on the team, followed by Brown, who clearly hates doing it. Martavis has 20 pounds on either guy. Needs to do better on that front.

I've heard that the Xbox One controller + wireless adapter combo is the way to go.

Sorry to hear that. Lumbar region?

I'll have more details after work when I see him. The fucked up part is he couldn't take time off to see about it for like a month after it happened.

He had a fusion done 20 years ago and then this accident fucked all that up and then some.

What's the consensus best Controller to get for PC?

Before this gen it was the wired 360 pad beyond a doubt and you still can't go wrong with that, probably find it pretty cheap now as well.

The Xbone controller is better but I'm not sure what adapters or dongles you'll need to use it wirelessly, any old micro-USB cable will work if you use it wired with your PC. Don't need to worry about drivers, the moment you plug it in it should download them automatically.

Found out my dad has a fractured vertebrae from an accident at work. Shit.

Fuck, sorry to hear that dude.

As much as I love the guy, I'm not sure that I would. We've shown a ridiculous ability to draft receivers in the middle of the draft. Even Wheaton is playing like a grown ass man as of late.

We've drafted the following in the last 5 drafts:

Mike Wallace
Antonio Brown
Emmanuel Sanders
Martavis Bryant
Marcus Wheaton

That's 3 3rd rounders, 1 4th rounder and a 6th rounder. Absolutely ridiculous return.

I think the one thing that all of these Wide Receivers have had, when they've succeeded, is that Ben Rothlisberger has been throwing them the ball.

What's the consensus best Controller to get for PC?

Xbox Elite controller mang. Only $150.

I want to try the Steam Controller. Even if it sucks it's at least trying to innovate. That doesn't necessarily mean it should be successful just for being different (see Wii U gamepad), but we're going to be using the same control scheme for going on 15 years by the end of the generation. Every gen before this brought a new controller innovation, and with it, new games became possible. I just want to see that again.

Damn that sucks man hopefully he gets better

I dunno, changing one of the sticks to a touch pad isn't super innovative to me. My bigger issue though is with build quality and button placement. Just isn't a comfortable controller to use. I have used it to play GalCivIII on my tv in the living room though, so that is cool.

I like the idea behind the Steam controller but in my old age I want to tinker with settings less, not more. Plus most of the games I will actually play don't require massive customization.

Giants GM can only dream about drafting like this..

Yeah I guess that's true, I just want to see some new control scheme. The paddles on the Xbox Elite controller is something, we'll see where that goes. But I think it was Nintendo that had a patent for the bumpers of a controller being scroll wheels that you can cycle through in addition to click. Or something like the Oculus Touch controllers, which have a similar control scheme to current gen (dual analog, four face buttons, triggers), but it has additional sensors that detect whether your finger is on the triggers, or can detect where they are in 3D space. Obviously that's more for a more specialized niche than a normal controller, but it's still cool to see

Well, to be frank, no one gave a shit who won this game, both teams are garbage. You guys got plenty of attention in 2012 when you guys were good (Watt hype was real). I'm not sure why the narratives that the media likes to run with are important to you, most of the coverage for pro football is absolute garbage, with former players and coaches saying some of the stupidest shit while bringing up the most meaningless stats. Outside of gambling purposes, Texans unfavorable record in Indy was a chip I feel they put on themselves. Same with caring about who the media covers, there was nothing to cover about the Colts this year outside of dumpster fire appeal.

You and Narag were the weight on our backs that needed to be broken in half.
