No, come the fuck on. You can't get a grasp on the game that early. Don't listen to him.

I hate the main character with a passion already.

I have zero interest in her thoughts...it feels like I'm reading Twilight. It's hard to get past an extreme dislike for the main character. Might even be a neat story but I just can't make myself care...

I'm sorry, but I think you're too quick on putting this down. This is nowhere near Twilight shit, not even close. Maybe not care for Max, but at least explore the decision at critical points. There's no way in hell you can have any determination in just ten minutes.

Happy New Year fellas.

Not trying to be funny, but I had the strangest fucking dream. Saw Chip Kelly crying in a stairwell. Went up to him and gave him a hug, told it'll be alright, forget what else I said but I know I was pumping up. LOL
You're a good guy.

Happy New Year, brothers! How many freaking years have we all been posting together? Anyway, how you all had a great night and don't feel like shit today ;) I'm about to take my step father to see SW which will make for the third time I'll have seen it. Enjoy your weekend and here's to the Cardinals winning SB 50! Go Cards!

I am legitimately asking, b/c I have no idea. Like that dude for AZ, David Johnson, how much better is Gurley than he is? I'm sure Gurley would blow up in AZ. But it just seems like there are always mid and late round backs getting it done every year

This isn't good enough. Guess I'll stop watching the Broncos.

How does everyone rank in terms of scoring? That's what matters for the most part.

... it's really hard to look at that and not see Arizona as the overwhelming favorite to with the SB.

Thanks for posting this. I was going to say just look at EPA and drive stats but not everyone is on-board yet

You may be incapable of basic math, jak, but it still has value. One day you will see the light!

What I'd really like to do is EPA per drive. Because who cares about aggregates? Anyway, maybe next year. (edit: admittedly, I could do this now, but I am lazy)

I also want to see how different "expected 1st downs added" looks (if at all), but that is going to be a pain in the ass.

lol. Weddle (on IR, post-fine for wanting to watch his daughter perform) showed up to practice with media watching and was sprinting around. Just to show he could.

Fuck the Chargers

just like your qbr right

EPA is the major part of QBR. My position on QBR is it is better than passer rating and ANY/A. The biggest point on any QB stat is that there is no stat that can account for a QB playing well on a bad team. You indeed need the "eyeball test" for looking at Phil Rivers' season

I am always wary of rate stats for players, but teams face enough plays and drives over the course of a season that they are really useful. The problem is of course injuries can mean a team is wholly different Week 16 than it was Week 5. But AZ has been so dominant

Yeah, QB EPA is essentially "team passing offense", and QBR reflects that. It's how you get crazy jumps like Rodgers 2014 vs Rodgers 2015. Did he become a mediocre QB overnight? Probably not.
