I would have rated as a Japanophile with my DBZ shirts and that's as bad as it got.

Please tell me you wore one of these

Midwestern accent would say "leh-ver".

Yeah, never heard anyone say lee-ver

Then you can understand the depths of pain Cleveland fans go through everyday.

It's insincere and irresponsible to make light of the terrible suffering of a downtrodden underclass who were the ones to bear the burden of the poor decision making of the foolhardy elite with that of an anime film.

Princess Mononoke was always spouted as the best thing ever when I was in high school. We didn't really have pillow fuckers back then and anime people were into other shit like comic books and Kevin Smith movies. I would have rated as a Japanophile with my DBZ shirts and that's as bad as it got.

Edit: this concert "started" at 9pm and nobody is even on stage yet....

Edit edit: hope this crowd increases in size because it isn't exactly Ultra music fest in here
My introduction to anime was by a kid from Hong Kong in my dorm who was on a James Bond level of pirating games (he told me about Fire Emblem and was one of the few kids I knew who liked SNES RPGs), he introduced me to anime. He showed me Akira, which was weird to me, and some hentai (he did not give me that term, to me it was just cartoon porn) with some tentacles. I don't think I saw another anime until Spirited Away and while I loved that movie I did not see another anime after that until Totoro. That was enough at the time to know it was not for me.

We did bond over CT and FF7 though. Both of which we were really into.

Back to anime Ghibli is art. Anime is trash in my limited experience.
Castle in the Sky > Mononoke > My Neighbor Totoro
I don't have the will to watch Grave of the Fireflies.
Never saw Monoke, did see Castle in the Sky.

Of the Ghibli movies I have seen none comes close to that first viewing of Totoro. It really is a magical movie for kids. I don't have any clue how he pulls that movie off. It is such a simple plot but the characters and the world is done so well it is just at another level (at least for me).

First movie my kids have seen and today still the one that grabbed them the hardest.

Wrestlemania was surprisingly good except for a few matches. Some exciting moments in there like the Shane 30 ft drop

Concert rocked my balls off and like 500 people suddenly showed up

Left early because fuck waiting 30 mins for an uber driver.

The crowd was great, nobody punched anyone, music was amazing, saw some girls wearing nothing but bikini bottoms and tshirts, and I was far from the oldest person there.

10/10 would rave and pay $7 for Dos Equis tall boys again.

Edit: although seeing Armin van Buuren was on my bucket list, seeing him again is already on the list. The list isn't getting smaller!

You could just visit me and I'll play his music on my iPhone. Pretty much the same experience, but beer will be cheaper.

Gintama has made me experience your pain multiple times now...
I made it through 45 seconds.. The hell?
Was this anime based on Larry's experiences on the toilet.

It's insincere and irresponsible to make light of the terrible suffering of a downtrodden underclass who were the ones to bear the burden of the poor decision making of the foolhardy elite with that of an anime film.
Well nothing truly can compare.. But you gain a sympathy for my pain.

I don't think you could give me the part where there are hot chicks or the speakers that vibrate your whole body.

Pls

You like blondes, this country is filled to the brim with hot blondes. Plus, I can find some big ass speakers, don't you underestimate me. Not sure if your bae would be okay with you being surrounded by hot Dutch blondes.

I can confirm that there are endless hot blondes in the Netherlands. But first you need to survive the labyrinth of bicycles out to kill you at every turn.

I never had the balls to ride my bike around in heavy traffic in a city. I just don't trust drivers enough and most places I have lived are not designed for bikes.

That is a pretty boss element of Europe that their countries are bike friendly. If it was safer in the US I would bike everywhere. It is free exercise and fun.

Other than Greg any of you still play basketball? I am getting my shot and game down to an acceptable level. The only time I really regret being young is when I play basketball. It must be nice to be able to run up and down the court for 3 hours and not have to pay for that night and the next day.
