FMT is a dad! How best to celebrate?

Philly is the only place on the best coast to get Russian River beers. The hype for Pliny has died, well hipsters have moved on from IPAs to sours now.

I was never that hyped for Pliny, honestly. It's good but I'd take a Bell's Two Hearted over it any day. Or practically any sour!

Sours have been big in Philly for well over a year now anyway, probably two. Hell, IPAs have been declining in focus for a while here. But, it's one of the best beer cities in the US and started the belgian beer/gastropub craze so that's not surprising at all. The brewpub a block from my house put their sour on a week ago and I bought the first growler.

I'm hoping the Saisonale event happens again this year too. A week long event dedicated to saisons? Puts me in heaven.

Yall got the Panthers pick when it comes around

(Unless Bowser, Crisco, Talamius etc etc want to take it)

My recommendations:

1. BEST
2. PLAYER
3. AVAILABLE

Resist the temptation to reach for a CB based on Norman leaving. I doubt the Panthers would go into the season with a rookie as CB1, so they wouldn't be looking at needing to find an immediate starter at that position through the draft. They would take the BPA regardless of position outside of QB, K, or P at 30.

Golden Tate says Detroit Lions starting to build an 'empire'

“Now we’re just going to start building the empire,” Tate said, “building something great.”

“Just going into every game and, every year, expecting to win and not hoping to win,” he said. “That’s the mentality that, I think, as an organization, we need -- as a state, as a city, we need, is that we’re afraid of no one, we’re going into every game thinking we have a good chance to win or even blow them out."

Coming off of fellow Pro Bowler, Glover Quin, yesterday saying the Lions have a ton of talent and that as players like Ziggy Ansah and Darius Slay mature they need to become vocal leaders in the locker room.

Keep hearing no great QB's next few years, that's why the trade ups. Two teams that I talked to that have studied this & completely disagree

yes because when the season started last year everyone was hashtagging #Worst4Wentz

So Dream Team 2

that always works out so well

Greatest Show on Turf 2.0

It's a continuation of what Kurt Warner and the Rams started, the Colts with Peyton in his prime and Drew Bree's during his early days with the Saints.

As long as we can solidly the offensive line I expect the same type of command coming from the Quarterback (Matthew Stafford) and the control he will have over the offense.

You could tell when Manning was in his prime calling plays or Drew Bree's was running the Saints offense there was nothing you could do to stop them from dropping 30 points a game on you.

That's what I expect out of this Lions offense this year. We have all the pieces set on offense just need to solidify the offensive line some more which we'll do with our ten draft picks.

Probably more than 10 draft picks considering Bob Quinn has gotten plenty of calls regarding the #16 pick

Josh Norman was flown by private plane to DC and then giving a Secret Service like escort to the NFL Franchise's facility.

Me thinks Snyder will do his damnedest to keep him from leaving the building tonight

Southern living is fried chicken with mashed potatoes and greens (from one of my favorite places in Atlanta):

I wish I had endless optimism.

LATIN, MATRIPEDICABUS, DO YOU SPEAK IT
you have a ping pong class?!

GOING BACK TO COLLEGE!

Several of the major universities have silly electives like that. I remember 15 years ago people signing up for classes like billiards, golf, bowling, even stuff like tractor driving or horseback riding to fill in time during their last two years. Though they'd use terms like "table tennis" or "equestrian lessons" to make it sound more formal.

Americans having ping pong and chocolate classes and leaving college 100k in debt. Worth it.

As for Italian beers, ABInBev just bought Birra del Borgo. Shit's going down.

Wow. I wonder if they offshore production or some shit to get around the high Italian taxes. Italian beer would explode if they could bring the costs down.

I'm blessed with an Italian beer bar a five minute walk from my house.
