Bionic i'm surprised. I made some pretty controversial comments the last thread and you didn't refute them. Are you in agreement? Finally sick of Ben and his undercover Trump support?
He did not do shit on the road.

I don't blame the Steelers for Bell getting hurt at the start of the game. That would be tough for anyone to deal with.

I am sick of Ben. He is probably pro-Trump and fuuuuuuuuuck that.

I just want someone good like Tebow. Is that too much to ask? Someone that is not a total shithead that you feel good rooting for.

Tebow is almost certainly a Trumper

Now that I've fully recovered from the worst collapse perhaps in sports history, I've got to say, Ryan and Quinn imploded in that 2nd half. At least Baltimore hung on. Doug Peterson wouldnt have made most of those mistakes, and with the way Devonte Freeman played the first half, you would at least trust him. Atlanta was trying to do too much for no reason, and of course it backfired hard.

If Atlanta doesnt get a winning season next year, everyone is going to be taking a long, hard look at Dan Quinn, and while I don't think the falcons will go 49ers insanity, it'll look like from the outside.

The pats will have a very pats offseason, get some players that nobody likes and turn them into surprisingly efficient starters (Eric Rowe). Brady will probably make it into his 40s providing the pats keep a good o-line, but if he gets a bad injury, he's toast. I do think the pats drop Jimmy G to the highest bidder, as I expect someone to be stupid enough to take him over face value, like the browns.
But he'll probably end up in Chicago and proving his doubters wrong/right by becoming another sexy rexy.

As the rest of the league picks up the pieces from a mediocre season with an ending we probably should have expected, we can only look forward to the day when we get to say that Tom Brady might not be the GOAT after all, and someone else can win one for not just my land or your land, but all the land in this great sport of ours.
Just please don't let that team be the Ravens again.

Congratulations on the improbable win ya basterds, you deserve it*, enjoy it while it lasts. I'm just gonna hope it's not until Tom Brady is 45.

*Hopefully nothing shady comes out, not suggesting it, just hoping

*Retreats back into den, with popcorn and coke*

dave is ok

aztek is ok
Remember the fake taking a knee play that was really a run that Dion Lewis fucked up his ankle on?

Thank god that didn't turn into the game winning touchdown or something. People would be burning down Belichicks house right now.

One final look at all of the festivities. I think everyone from all levels involved, players, coaches, league officials, and every single visitor and outside media people all raved at this host committee's job in putting up an epic show for 9 days. I seriously hope that we do not wait another 15 years for another hosting opportunity, and please be less than 7 years like fucking Glendale got. The experience overall has been amazing for everyone here. You all are welcome in this city anytime. Later, thread.

That's not really the true Houston experience. They really cleaned up the GRB area and shoo-awayed the homeless people for the Super Bowl.

Me and DM are going out for drinks tonight to celebrate the big win! Thanks to TMobile for sponsoring our drinks tonight.

Hypothetical question: If every person of color on the Patriots declines going to the White House, do Kraft, Brady, and the Hoodie still go and kiss his ass?

Must be hard to have to go through so much suffering!
You know it's funny you say that. Some fans of other teams (I will not name them out of respect because I'm so classy) would have given up and change the channel, possibly to an Everybody Loves Raymond, or Becker. Patriots fans on the other hand live for this kind of game. It's in our blood. We would never change the channel while our team is losing, even if King of Queens is on.

False most everybody changed to ESPN deportes as soon as the switch commercial was set to go.

Damn nice to see even Reggie Wayne calling Tom the goat. Ike Taylor also on the panel there saying he's not just the goat qb, but the goat football player. The pats porn today is just on another level.

Kyle Shanahan runs a ZBS based offense and it has already been reported that Schaub would be one of his choices (last choice) to be a bridge QB in SF. Brock ran the ZBS offense under Kubiak in Denver, SF has the cap space and it would basically be a one year rental. Brock can be cut in 2018 with almost no cap hit. Throw in new GM in SF Lynch has spent time with Elway learning and as much as they wont admit it ELway did offer brock 16.5 million per year

Houston could throw a pick/player their way to make it happen. Likely to happen? No but it isnt that crazy of an idea

I think blaming Matt Ryan for taking some rough sacks is a bit much. Should he have known better given the situation? yes, especially because it cost them 3 points. But he wouldn't be in that position

A: if his coach actually had some better play calls
B: If his fucking o-line actually does their job

I understand that we live in the era where QBs can offset bad line play, but that's to an extent. At some point you still need them to hold up, and on 3rd down they gave up 4 sacks on the night, including that sack fumble where the running back got exposed by Hightower. It's the brand of QB gets too much credit/too much bullshit that makes some NFL take stupid as fuck.

Personally I thought he played well, and the difference in this game was the same difference in every other #1 defense beating the #1 offense. The defensive team won when it counts in the trenches (that and in this case the actual gameplan on offense was mad sus). It's not a shocker that Brady started carving them up when they stopped getting to him.

Actually on the strip sack that's on Freeman but also HEAVILY on Matty Ice there. Hightower blitzed, he didn't get a free run off the edge because of the line. 2nd he came off the right side not his blind side. I am shocked he didn't see him coming and get rid of it.

I was gonna say, that's real close to the "homeless corridor" under the 59 overpass. There's a few hundred of them there at any given time of day.

I can't wait for the Seth Rogen/James Franco movie about stealing Tom Brady's jersey and the Texas Rangers (lead by Liam Neeson) trying to track them down.
