The league figured out Chip's gimmick offense by the second half in most games and Kap not being able to move to his second read didn't make it easier. They both needed to go.
I think their test group were the paid actors from the promo, and even they weren't that interested in playing.

That shit is not uncommon at launch. PS3 and 4 both had the same issue and it was fixed via firmware.
