Grad school is more work than college but at the same time I kind of found it easier because it felt more like a job. I was more distracted in college.

The paper was part of a project that spanned the entire semester. The final report only took a week to put together since we already had everything and just had to compile it together in a cohesive way.

Wait what? That's pretty much the bare minimum among all the theses I've read. More if it's "softer" sciences.

At our university (and I think most technical universities in Germany), the workload of a Master's thesis is a full semester (with no other courses added). Most people I know took even longer than that.
