As long as you don't keep games or media or photos on it that should be enough but I would suggest you go up to 256 so you have some extra room.

128 runs out quick even with just the OS and programs.

So future proof basically, well I ordered a 4TB drive to back up my current drive, afterwords I'll clean up my current drive but yeah I guess I'll go with the 256,

Probably (presuming the OS is elsewhere)

But you're better off with more, I'd say. Helps the wear levelling do a better job (--> better longevity for the drive) if nothing else.
