Josh Allen is still better than Mahomes.
That's some massive cope.
There is one area where Allen is better than Mahomes and that's rushing.
But Mahomes' passing ability and awareness is just elite and if you compare both in their primes Mahomes wipes the floor with him.

And you also forgot to add that Mahomes is 3-0 against Allen in playoff games. :)

No one actually believes that if you swapped defenses tonight the game would be close. Allen would have blown them out.
I was just talking about your Mahomes/Allen comparison.
Allen had mostly a very good game tonight and his receivers just could not convert on his great long balls but putting Allen above Mahomes is just a bit too much.
Statistically this has been Mahomes worst season but he still made it to the AFC championships again and is better than 95% of the other QBs this season.

Yeah, Allen is just better.

You put both QBs on neutral teams and Allen takes his team further. He's a better floor raiser and a better ceiling raiser.

Can anyone tell me if the team you follow has a LB group of small+fast linebackers?

The Bills philosophy at the position seems to have changed over the last few years. Our entire group looks like a bunch of strong safety's.

Is the whole league doing this or is it a strategic variation with our GM?

I didn’t know Hardman fumbled twice, must’ve been when I went to take a shit and shower. That makes it even worse, trusting the guy at the 3 yard line. Shitty playcalling right there.

I’m guessing its to cover tight ends.

The pats have been doing that for awhile now. Used to be bruschi, Chris slade, adalius Thomas, Vrabel, junior Seau.

Several years ago belichick wanted to have a million safeties on the field so they essentially supplanted our linebackers. Jabrill peppers and duggar like players. Ended up wasting a ton of draft picks on bums in the 2nd round that didn't pan out. Lots of weird division 2 guys taken way too early.

I'd rather have a roquan Smith or Christian Harris type, actually linebackers. Mostly the pats play nickel or dime.

49ers have 2 pretty beastly LBs (Greenlaw and Fred Warner). They are both pretty skilled and do drop back sometimes but both are crazy huge lol.

49ers need to fix their defense or they will lose to the Lions. Everyone loves to talk about Purdy but, while he wasn't great this weekend, the biggest problem in all 4 games they lost this year has been the inability of the defense to get off the field. They have a $$$$$ defensive line that can't pressure (or sack) the QB when they bring 4 and rarely can even if they blitz. They are also not turning the other teams over. Opposing QBs have all day and the secondary isn't good enough to hold up so good opposition just inevitably marches down the field. I think they registered like 1 sack and 2 turnovers during their 3 game losing streak (and didn't force any against the Ravens).

This happened again Saturday but they were saved by decent redzone defense (which isn't typically the problem) and an unforced awful throw from Love that was tipped and picked. If they don't pressure (and sack) Goff they will lose next weekend as the Lions will just completely control the ball for most of the game.

why not take a few steps to the right there

The right move was passing to the Bills guy cutting across the field. That receiver would get it and already be at the 20 yard line, possibly better if he zoomed down the sidelines after catching it.

From there, it'd be first down. And they got the rest of the game clock to figure out a TD or field goal at shorter range.

Allen went for the home run pass and missed.

I'm riding this high as long as possible but I think our run comes to an end this week. Our offense looked good for the first time all year but I think the cracks in bills defense takes credit for that. Ravens, it appears to me, have no weaknesses. Our advantage is people counting us out and using that to fuel something extraordinary, also known as mahomes magic.

I think everybody knows the Ravens vs chiefs is the real Superbowl.

Ravens have the best team.
Lions are the team I most want to win.
49ers are frauds.
And the Chiefs have pat mahomes.

and he missed badly. I could understand him missing high and out of the endzone. The ball bounced to the receiver.

Nah this was bad. Diggs was wide open, even the commentators said Allen should’ve thrown to him instead of being greedy and going for the endzone.
Yeah, no one watching the game in our place even wanted us to score there.

Giving Mahomes 1:30 with 1 timeout is way too long.

Probably due to injury. The Cowboys ended up with the same issue this last year and played a bunch of dime defense more out of necessity than desire. Run games feast on that and that of course leads to play-action. Dan Quinn has never been terribly successful against the Shanahan coaching tree, but his unit was pretty banged up which is probably his only saving grace at this point.

Exactly -- they executed their game plan nearly-flawlessly until the last two minutes of the game when they started going for big bomb plays that would've left way too much time on the clock. Yeah yeah, any time is bad against Mahomes we know, but let's be realistic. Just go for little chip plays and runs like you've been doing all season -- worst case scenario it's a much shorter FG to tie and the game isn't over, at least.

I still don’t see how the NFL thinks that is funny. Maybe the way they talk that they are used to it in rugby or some shit?

It sucks the kicker got blamed for losing. This is all on Allen and McDermott. Why go for the TD when you have plenty of time left and 2 timeouts? I agree, they should’ve chipped away and get closer for a better FG range. What was it, 22mph wind or something in the cold and OFF the hashmarks? Brilliant idea

There are delusional folks thinking Belichick is coming to the Bills to either work with McDermott or even replace him. Yeah I don’t either happening.

Maybe the laughter. It does kind of feel like it went from professional announcing to joyous fandom. That's not necessarily a bad thing and sort of endearing.
