also...don't understand why the teams don't use balls from the same pool. makes no sense to me...

I don't believe it. Refs handle the balls before each drive, its on them to make sure everything is done correctly.

And in any case, Patriots totally demolished Colts.

Which is why the refs took balls out and weighed them....

No shit, colts lost either way. Cheating is still cheating though, if true.
 
This stuff has gotten ridiculous.

I highly doubt the Pats intentionally deflated balls aiming for some advantage. Not that they needed any help yesterday.

I thought it was that they filmed the deflation of the balls before secretly over inflating them.

I don't know how anyone can seriously think this actually happened in an attempt to gain an advantage... Like it just doesn't register at all.
 
What happened was the Patriots deflated a couple balls because Jimmy G likes them that way, small hands and all. Then the Colts mistakenly took Jimmy G's balls. It was just an honest mistake.

Any other team but the patriots and it would be laughed off as nutty. But it's the patriots. The team that cheated to win superbowls. They built this distrust about their organization and they have to live with that lack of trust from the public.

The fact that the Patriots would brazenly cheat by doctoring the football makes me wonder what else they're doing or still doing.

Should be a huge mark on Brady/Belichick's legacy, yet we will see broadcasters crowing about how Brady is the best.

I'm a Colts fan, and it's not like it would've changed the outcome of the game.

Still, the Patriots and Belichick are world-famous for constantly cheating, and when they're not cheating, bending the rules as far as they'll go. The fans, the NFL, everyone knows they're doing it. If they haven't done anything about it yet there's no reason to believe that will change now.

What's this about CONSTANTLY cheating. Have they still been filming? Have they done anything prior to "spy gate" which itself is super overblown? Is the tuck rule cheating despite it being in the rule books AND it was called AGAINST THEM in the regular season against the Jets.

Are people equating their sub tactics to cheating despite them being perfectly legal?
 
Coach Belisomething has never wasted a single second of his coaching life. Every single action he takes has a purpose and meaning. Anything they do, they do on purpose for the team's benefit, legal or not. It's why they love him and every other teams hates him.
 
Anyone that felt need to cheat against this Colts family need to live on bunker for the rest of their life because they bringing fucking shame to their family.

Shit's equivalent if you bribe refs to win against Costa Rica in World Cup.

Oh this is serious...

I saw it in my Facebook feed on some junky third party blog site and thought it was fake but ESPN picking it up too? Well now....I'm pleasantly not surprised at this allegation.
 
I'm happy the Colts got this far, but let's face it, they did it against a DOA Bengals team and a hobbled legend. Not the first to say this, but deflated footballs would not have changed whatever the fuck happened yesterday.

As a longtime Colts fan, my hatred of the Pats turned into bitter respect a long time ago. This has turned into an Apathy Bowl for me, but I suppose the history in me wants the Pats to lose.
