This is the easiest part of the off season. Just wait until after the draft; that is when true despair reigns.
I don't know what you guys are talking about, the off-season has been great. Every bright new day feels like....world champs.
You were right about Ni no Kuni by the way, it's great. Did you end up finishing it?Bag of golden dicks for you.
http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/jets/buyer-island-jets-teams-hook-revis-article-1.1280612Two or three legitimate buyers are prepared to make a trade for perennial Pro Bowl cornerback Darrelle Revis when free agency and the trading period begin on March 12th, the Daily News has learned.
The NFC champion 49ers, who will have 12 tradeable picks in next months draft and a glaring need for a top cornerback, are interested in trading for Revis sooner rather than later, according to sources. The Falcons, who lost to the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game, are also considered a team that could emerge as a player in the Revis sweepstakes.
By acting now, new GM John Idzik could jolt the NFL landscape in the coming days and reshape the future of the wayward franchise before an already select market for Revis shrinks.
But it appears to be only a matter of time before the Jets part ways with their most valuable asset.
Hes gone, a source familiar with the situation said Tuesday. This is happening. Theyre moving him. They cant keep him. Theyre rebuilding. Theyre starting fresh.

I want to see the best players on division rivals stay around until they are well past their prime and end up doing nothing but sucking up cap room and hurting their team on the field. For example, Brady should play for the Pats until he's at least 50 or so.I'd be so sad to see Revis leave the division. About as sad as I would be if the Jets drafted Barkley with the pick they'd get for Revis.
Good to hear. It seems like some people burned out on it towards the middle (mostly because of the companion AI I think?) so I'm hoping that doesn't happen to me. I've put in about 12 hours so far and I'm loving it, though. It feels good to play a classic JRPG with these insanely good production values.Yeah I passed the game on the weekend. I can definitely rate it as one of my favourite games in the last few years.
But glad you're enjoying it.

I'm with you in that whatever has to be done for Barkley to end up on the Jets needs to happen. That would be fantastic.Barkley is more elite than Revis.
Plus, you don't want Brady to play 'till he's 50 because that would mean no more division titles for you guys for the next 15 years.

Well looks like Te'o can get a job with Regis after he gets cut in a few years.
I hope FOX has Darryl Waltrip do sports other than NASCAR.
Who doesn't like Andrews?
Schefter is reporting that Welker will not sign with New England before testing the open market.
I really hope this doesn't happen. I don't want to have to hate Amendola. If the Patriots pick up a good receiver or two and Gronk/Hernandez stay healthy that team will be scary next season. And Florio is projecting Amendola to NE on MSNBC.

And Florio is projecting Amendola to NE on MSNBC. Love the silly season. I mean why would some team give the Jets two high picks just for the honor of paying a serial malcontent like Revis, coming off an ACL tear, 15m/yr?

So, pretty much the same as the last 15 then?
Yes, I know they won the division in 2008
I'm proud of it. It's the NFL, injuries happen. If anything makes me shameful of that title it's knowing that it only happened because of the wildcat. They aren't proud of that title, because they know both Brady and Favre had to get injured for them to win it.
I dont want Amendola.I'd rather they sign Welker and draft the best player available.Maybe Tavon Austin.Austin would be deadly in this offense.
Now that is a terrifying thought. What about signing Cruz to a font-loaded deal with all that money Brady freed up? Cost you a first, but he's young
Why?Rather have Austin than Cruz.Rather have Welker than both.

Austin won't be there. I bet he goes higher. Seems to be the hot hand right now.
Howard Eskin @howardeskin

Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter
Washington Redskins announced that they have named A.J. Smith as a Senior Executive.

Via @mortreport: 49ers' interest in trading for Jets CB Darrelle Revis is ".001 on a scale of 1-10," a source said via text message.
@Jeff_McLane: Contrary to a report, the #Eagles are saying Nnamdi Asomugha is not being released today.
:jnc
As for Revis to the Niners:
A few tweets came through stating the Falcons interest was also very minimal.
EDIT: Nnamdi not being released today according to Jeff Mclane:

The speed with which the Eagles have refuted to every local and national reporter the @howardeskin report on Nnamdi is amazing.

If the Eagles' players moved as quickly as the front office just did, the team wouldn't have been 4-12 last season.
