That's why you do non exclusive franchise, which is 14 mil, plus someone will pay Flacco and give up the picks: Cheifs, Jags, Browns, etc. You don't get many chances at a once on a lifetime talent like Joe Flacco.

Letting him walk and getting 2 1sts, plus resigning important pieces is different than letting him walk for nothing. It's also different from signing him and losing/cutting a third of your starters with no money to replace them.

But I have full knowledge that what I want is not what will happen.

Ozzie mentioned in that article I posted that they weren't going to do a bunch of restructures to try and keep the team together like they did last time after a SB win. The Ravens aren't a team that's about to make a run with this group.
