NFL Offseason Thread 2015 |OT| All of our teams suck!

I still can't get over how people are ignoring the cheating. People are saying Brady and Belichick are the best ever.

I feel like a street preacher in rags shouting at people reminding people of the horrors of this world. Reminding them of their vulnerability and flaws. People passing by just want to continue the illusion to avoid any hard questions or rough thoughts!

There is no justice! Cheaters always win!

This is worse then when the Eagles won the Super Bowl.

Evil won last night.

Joe Philbin is coming back for one more season.

I think I'm going to take the 2015 season off. I just won't be able to handle all the non-stop Patriots slurping, it's going to be even worse than usual. And we're going to be mediocre, again.

The world is a cruel place. Just another example that evil succeeds unless good men do something to stop it.

Unfortunately, the good men in this situation had an evil mole within their ranks.

Evil beat Evil last night. It was basically #1 evil vs #2 evil.

I actually feel kinda gross thinking I was going for the seahawks till the end of the game. I felt bad for them until I saw them break out into that fight at the end. Suddenly all feelings of "power seahawks" evaporated into "Somehow the Seahwaks just managed to make the Patriots look like the good guys in this game... thats an achievement"

needs to be on every page this offseason.

Like your attempt to get all of us fired from work with your smut, your conversion therapy to turn me straight also won't work.

JABEE, it's okay friend. The words you say may be true, but you need to let it go.

This isn't comics, this isn't games, this isn't movies. This is reality. And in reality,
at least 50% of the time but I don't want to sound really depressing so just shortening it to sometimes
sometimes the bad guys just win.

I'll take obnoxious juicers over conniving pricks that have been cheating for a decade and a half.

I don't know why I took it out on people here. That was such a poor showing though. They want to be this big bad team that openly goes on these rants and attacks the media, and run their mouths, but they don't want to deal with what comes when it goes the other way. Irvin should feel embarrased in the worst way right now. Russell held up with class, but hell I thought Petes post presser made him look awful, and really spoke to why his team reacted the way it did. He encourages his team to be the big bad guys, and it's worked for them. That being said it will be interesting to see what would happen to this team if they didn't have the overflow of talent on the D side.

Also I thought it was funny when people felt for sherman. He goes ahead and calls out Revis on the grandest stage, he does his whole WWE crap where he clearly wants to be the heel of the league. When you become that person you should expect people to hate you, that's literally what you're asking for.

The other guy I was happy to see suffer Was Baldwin. His celebration was a DISGRACE. WTF? Shitting on the ball? What does that even mean? It also gave the pats better field position... did he forget the game wasn't over? After his BS rant talking about how they get no credit, even though they were number 1 in the power rankings the majority of the season. He acts like such a victim, when in reality he's on one of the most praised and successful teams in the league. The worst part is after the game he was asked about the final play and immediately starts harping on his coaching staff.

Joe Buck is that you?

I was playing a random on x1. I don't have issues when I play my irl buddies across the city. Really frustrating that we're still stuck in the stone age when it comes to online game and dedicated servers on consoles.

Hmmm, that's odd then. Our league is on xbone too, mostly UK players with a couple of Americans and it's fine with the exception of that one guy down under. Maybe randoms just need to stop being poors and get a decent connection or are lag switches still a thing?

Colts make it official, announce agreement with former CFL standout WR Duron Carter, son of Cris Carter.

Really all that's left is figuring out how to sign Revis then sending Manning into retirement in Marinoesque fashion.

I'm really interested in seeing what happen with Revis. I have a feeling he's just going to go to the highest bidder since he already has his ring.

Brady will never surpass Joe Cool for the GOAT title.

The signature plays of each of his Super Bowl wins:

1) Vinatieri
2) Vinatieri
3) McNabb puking
4) The defense making a pick in the end zone

I just want it to be the next Super Bowl now. When Peyton isn't in it, people will finally have to accept that Eli is the permanent best Manning. #counttherings

Fixed.

Also odd that the "GOAT" could never get it done without a great defense, incredible pass blocking, and top-tier coaching.

Lol who cares what the signature plays were? Brady just went insane in the 4th quarter last night to lead a comeback against the best defense in the league. Keep trying to downplay his accomplishments bruh.

If you want the title of GOAT, this is what it's about. It's about legacy, not just stats. It's everything.

I never said Brady was trash, I just said he's not the GOAT. You're free to believe what you want, but I don't personally subscribe to the idea that the world is flat either, so do you.

And would have lost if not for his defense.

So after scoring the go ahead touchdown, Brady heads to the bench. Either his defense gives up a touchdown and it's an indictment of Brady, or his defense doesn't give up a touchdown and it's an indictment of Brady? What? What? That's not even idiotic, that just doesn't make sense.

I'm shocked Montana won with such shit defenses and no good skill players. He even had to figure out how to compete in a league with no free agency.

Never said he didn't have that stuff. But you don't want to have a real discussion about it anyway, I imagine.

You're not understanding me. The title of Greatest Of All Time is only for someone who you can't really make any argument against, compared to his peers.

Incredible pass blocking? Since when? With rookies and patch work out there? The line was very beatable this year. The defense was also far from "incredible". They had their moments, but they also looked downright awful at times. Hell look at that embarrasing D right before the half. Now you're just moving goal posts.

You're not making any sense at all. How is anything that happened in the 4th quarter against the Seahawks an argument against Tom Brady?

Brady is still going to be going for more titles and will end up conservatively with 15 thousand more yards than Montana and over 150+ more TD's. He has 100 more TD's than Montana right now but the same amount of picks..

I dont understand the argument. Brady put them in a position to win.

He put them in position, but the defense actually won them the game.

Read my post. The most memorable moments of Brady's tenure with the Pats have been plays that were made by people other than him.
