Fucking Browns. Leave Sam Bradford alone!

Yup this is the link I mentioned earlier. WTF is Chat sports?

Seems like a report someone would write up based on rumors from the past few months.

Why would the Browns give up #19 and Manziel? Why would the Eagles want Manziel?

I actually think that squicken wrote that article.

I'd be over the way the Panthers lost the Bowl by now had we actually won (or even played in) another one.

We're still a young franchise, so we haven't really been around long enough to have a narrative written on us.

We could very well end up winning multiple chips in the future and taking our place among the great franchises in the league.

Or we could become the Browns and be doomed to sadness and failure for all eternity, never to win a chip or experience anything resembling happiness.

The uncertainty kills me!

You have Duke... and if all else fails jump on the UNC bandwagon both of them have a handful of championship.

Why would that make a difference

The distance? It matters to me because I rep Seattle.

I root for the Seahawks, M's and Sonics. Why would I root for the 49ers when they are in San Francisco?

However if the city of Seattle gets another football team. Fuck yes I have two football teams. What if.. Seattle gets 3 football teams? Guess what this dude right here gets 3 fucking teams.

Just like how people in NYC root for both teams right!?

Won't be able to make the draft tomorrow and PMed NihonTiger and Future.

I advised Nihon to grab Gurley or Gordon if they fall to us at #23 because you can never have to many weapons with a QB at 27 hitting his prime...
actually told Nihon to grab the best offensive lineman available since that's where we'll probably go and I actually wouldn't mind us going that route

They are in different borough are they not? Each borough of New York is bigger than the entire fucking city of Seattle (pretty insane huh?).

And I know the White Sox/Cubs is pretty much North/South Chicago which is hugely different demographic and social economic class.

I mean North Seattle is def a little more white and higher income than South Seattle but I don't consider the disparity to be on the level of Cha-city where we would need to split the two up. Or even like NY where every borough it basically its own city.

Just a friendly note for you morons -

Don't just pick the player, tell us WHY you picked them, or why you think your team will. A two sentence blurb should do.

Hey Kave Man, check out this cool Phil Kessel video that I found today:

Hey RBH check out this cool Braves video I found today:

:)

Speaking of spoilers I'm kinda afraid to step into that game of thrones no book spoilers thread.

no book spoilers thread is pretty good brah, just letting ya know. If you're worried about spoilers best bet is to only post or pay attention to it after you've watched an episode, get in and get out.

Rules for the mock draft as posted previously:

1. You and your group should come to a consensus on who you genuinely think your team would take. Not who you want.
2. No trades.
3. Each person/group has a 4 hour limit to make their pick. If the pick is not in within that 4 hour time limit, then the remaining NFL-GAF members will make a consensus pick. If no consensus is made, I will make the pick as the person running the draft.
4. Each pick should be accompanied with a short synopsis of why the pick was made. Don't write a book. Just tell me why.
5. Your pick can be PM'd to me directly and I will add it. That can be done before your on the clock. If you don't think you'll be here. You can send me your top three choices as your time draws near. You don't have to post it in the thread if you're going to be away.

If Futurevoid lets me I will, though I'd need Hammer24's approval.
PM it to me with a short blurb as to why. I'll post it at 2pm.

Aaron Hernandez maintains his swagger in court

(CNN)Aaron Hernandez is known for his swagger. Should he act any differently when he's on trial for murder?

When the once rising star for the New England Patriots walks into court each day with what appears to be an air of confidence -- or is it bravado? -- he enters from a connecting holding room. Some court security officers who escort him are as tall and muscular as he is.

Besides that certain bounce to his step, there's usually a smile.

It hasn't been there as often in the last couple of weeks when state witnesses have included his fiancée Shayanna Jenkins and his former boss, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who testified Hernandez would usually greet him with a kiss and a hug.

Always impeccably dressed in suit and tie brought in by his defense team, Hernandez quickly scans the courtroom, usually starting with the rows of seats directly behind him.

The front row is reserved for his family. Some days, none of his relatives is there. But when his mother, fiancée, brother and other friends attend, he winks, nods, smiles, jokes, laughs, flirts with his fiancée and mouths greetings to them including "'thanks for coming' and 'I love you.'"

Twice, he nodded his head and smiled at me.

It's not unusual for his lawyers to slap him on his back and huddle before court begins, appearing at ease. They've been representing him since June 2013.

There was an unfortunate moment. His mother once asked permission from a court officer to touch her son once the jury left the room. Given an OK, she reached over the bar to him, took one of his hands in hers and kissed it.

Rules forbid contact. It did not go unnoticed by the family of victim Odin Lloyd.

Hernandez does not avoid looking in their direction. He glances at Lloyd's relatives. Lloyd's mother Ursula Ward, who is in court daily, appears to look right back at Hernandez without expression from her usual seat on the end of a row.

When one witness, a high school friend, testifies that Hernandez once allegedly talked about carrying a gun, Hernandez appears to glare at him.

When his fiancée takes the stand and testifies Hernandez told her to ditch a box from their basement the day after Lloyd's slaying, his eyes are glued on her. She barely glances his way but does appear to say something as she passes the defense table on the way out.

When Kraft is asked to officially point out Hernandez in court and describe what he was wearing, I watch Hernandez look down at his shirt and tie as Kraft detailed his outfit.

When the team owner leaves the stand -- the same man who signed him to a $40 million bonus in 2012 -- Hernandez turns and watches him walk out of the courtroom.

Would it be the last time he'd see him in person?

On the last day of testimony when his defense rests its case, he smiles at relatives. But as he walks out the door this time, he doesn't look back.

A guy I hadn't spoken to in years, but who was nonetheless a good buddy in high school just died of a brain aneurysm. That's three high school acquaintances dead in a year. This shit is supposed to happen when I am 40-50, not 31.

Don't mean to pull one up on ya, had 3 buddies (being on sports teams together, not super close, but i knew their families) die in high school within a month of each other. Really scares the shit out of you for a minute. Two brain aneurysm, and one guy pulled a david carradine. All 15/16 at the time.

Shit fucks with your head. Don't let it get to ya

Yeah. One of them got crushed to death, the other had a massive infection due to complications from a disease he had, and now this. Just crazy that it's in such a small time frame.

Mallett really got to you or just following your true love Hoyer? How is your dwarf QB? I see he is ahead of the Ryan Leaf curve.
Everything you said was all good and disrespectful, and everything. But I just feel like im in Tune with The Texans organization, and Texans gaf.
