Let's do this in the only scientific way I know how.

If you would take Ryan Mallett over your current starter, post "aye".

All others, post "nay"

Opinions. Doesn't make my opinion any less valuable. The question still stands to darkest: what makes him a career back up?

Using Hoyer as an example: he has had chances to start on a couple teams and did not set the world on fire. Mallet got his chance to start, looked good and then promptly got injured. Not exactly the same thing

Answer my question: what makes him a career back up?
Just a prediction based on what little I've seen of him. Granted the sample size is small but when he has played he looks unremarkable in every way. Not saying he couldn't prove me wrong.

I guess the reason the Texans didn't take Teddy is because they had Mallett in mind all along. Pure genius.

Why is that? Because he could not beat out Brady?

Please show me evidence of this. Serious question

It's not because he couldn't beat out Brady, it's because he couldn't beat out Garoppolo. He was their third string quarterback and got traded away for a sack of beans.

Aye.

Mallett has the strongest arm of the 3 and already know the system. Not like he has a lot of wear and tear on him from prior years.

He looked rather good in his one healthy start last season before being injured. Are you talking his pre-season games in NE playing with back ups?

He was in the last year of his rookie contract while Garrapollo was just drafted and they have him locked up, cheaply, for 3-4 years. Pure economics and nothing else.
Pats wanted a 3rd or 4th and the Texans didn't budge. NE knew the only team that would be interested was them because O'Brien knew what Mallett is capable of.

I don't remember the injury situation but I'm seeing a 54.7 completion percentage with 2 TD's and 2 INT's, 5.33 yds/a.

Blaine Gabbart had 5.43 yds/a, by the way.
Matt Schaub had 5.70

I mean, it's fine to point out that he hasn't played much so I'm speculating but don't act like he has some crazy stats to suggest a bright future.

Where did I say that? the argument can be made that he has more immediate potential right now than Mariota and Winston. He has the time being the understudy that everyone seems to be saying Winston and Mariota need.

Low risk/high reward

Duh. Who wouldn't want Wilson!?

WR Breshad Perriman will meet with the Panthers tonight and tomorrow in Orlando, per league source.

Getts is scheming. There's no way Perriman's available at 25...

The only way Mallet does anything is if you put coke in the endzone and or give him coke for td passes. Any other opinion is straight :kas levels of delusion led by the fact you've had 13 years of shit qb play and you are begging for a decent qb

Whatever man. I hope Yates Keenum Savage Mallett works out for you.

Nay, also Omar Kelly thinks the dolphins should trade for Rivers....idiot.
His stupidity knows no bounds, I swear.

So, he should be a Cowboy then?

The fact that Jameis played like horseshit in the first half of like every other game last year scared me off of his pro prospects. His first year he looked like a savant who was going to absolutely beast with another year of experience under his belt. He should have been picking college defenses apart, not letting college defenses make him look like Jay Cutler's long lost brother. Developing a habit for bad decisions should definitely be a concern. You can't just brush is aside as "oh he was just trying to go for home runs" as if that's not a terrible habit that plagues many a pro QB.

I'm not acting like Jame is a sure thing.

I'm just saying that every rookie QB coming into the league this year is going to be given pared down playbooks and expectations.

Winston won't have to carry the Bucs like he did Florida State.

And like I said, apparently he has a brilliant football mind.

Don't you still have to be aroused?

No way Munn could manage that with AFraud.

Or does Viagra just give you a monster boner for a set period of time?

Im not expert you'll have to ask one of the other 100 olds in here that need it or other 50 sluts that use recreationally . But i think if you pop the blue magic that after X time you get hard for Y time

Viagra was developed as a blood pressure medication, it just happened that it gave males massive boners while lowering their BP. Its more profitable to treat ED than prolonging someone's life.

Coach K and the entire Duke basketball team are right outside my office window. Any one have some words they'd like me to pass along?

You mean like Geno Smith and EJ Manuel did last season? Try not to set that bar too high!

Remember when the Dolphins beat the Patriots last season and they acted like hot shit, but then we beat them and later we won the Super Bowl?

That was sweet

So what is she gaining from being a beard to arod?
Attention.

That opens the doors to the bathrooms and backseats of bigger, uglier, more successful producers who can get her off of low rent cable shows and onto mainstream tv shows and movies.

So far the plan has worked perfectly.

Remember when the Pats got caught cheating for the umpteenth time? This time clearly implicated the qb. And the press conference where the coach denied everything and threw Tammy under the bus? And then the worst press conference in history by Brady?

Good times to be a Pats hater!
