I can see that happen when we're resting our starters for the playoffs. We never learn.

You wont win the division this year.

Shouldn't have won it last year but you know: classless organizations, classless owners, dirty fucking cheaters:

What's it with people on GAF having little kid stomachs? There was the guy in the Taco Bell thread that literally shit his pants immediately after eating it (and then inexplicably ate it a third time after that).

I dont eat a lot but I can put down nearly anything.

That was Bowser.

I don't do W-L predictions until at least the preseason, too much potential roster turnover still

Idk why I thought it was you.

Ok, friendship resumed.

I cannot wait for the Luck vs Mallet rivalry to begin. My doors and fridge are always open to if you wish to watch the games friend. We can have a nice big Texas BBQ Florida style!

Can I bring this guy:

He likes some BBQ. Naw he will be too busy taking out his aggressions of being accused as a cheater

Jabee is a friend,
Yeah, I know he's been a good friend of mine
But lately somethings changed
And it ain't hard to define
Jabee's got himself a qb and I want to make him mine

tumblr_miiog0RPS71rlzl6no1_400.jpg

And he's watching him with those eyes
And he's loving that body, I just know it!

And Tebows going to hold up that trophy at the end of the season

You know that I wish that I had Jabee's qb!
I wish that I had Jabee's qb.
Where can I find a qb like that?
bennyhot.jpg

I am going to play along with this charade
There doesn't seem to be a reason to change
You know I feel so dirty when they start talking cute
I wanna tell him that I love him but the point is probably moot
tebow_and_friends.jpg

Tim-Tebow-Girlfriend-2.jpg

Because Chips watching him with those eyes
And they are loving that football body, I just know it
And he's going to be holding that trophy at the end of the night

You know I wish that I had Jebee's qb!
I wish that I had Jabee's qb!
Where can I find a qb like that?

Lots of chatter now about the Eagles being involved in a 3-way trade to move up for Mariota. There was that one I posted earlier involving the Chargers and Titans, which has been making the rounds of the sports blogosphere, although I can't find a source. And now Florio is positing a deal with the Browns and some unnamed third team in the top 5. Meanwhile, Jimmy Kempski, a beat writer who I trust, still insists the Eagles are going to make a big push for Mariota and puts it at a 50% chance of happening.

Next Thursday just needs to get here already so we can put an end to this madness, and I can either get excited about Mariota or resign myself to Bradford.

Just saw the schedules, I'm going to do the W-Ls a little later but I'm ecstatic the NFL has us on National TV for 6 games. Unfortunetly our two MNF games are on the road (one in Seattle, one in New Orleans). I see us at least starting 6-1 with the only loss coming to Seattle at home.

Also Week 1 @ San Diego I'll be there, no doubt about it. Don't know what my work schedule will be, but I'm making the drive. Also we have road games in Arizona and San Francisco. I'm going to try to make one of those but San Diego on September 13th is already marked on my calendar.

Definitely going to Ravens @ Oakland and Ravens @ San Francisco. I'll probably take the kids to Oakland too. Fucking Denver week 1 means Denver is out, do I'm thinking Ravens @ Arizona.

First reaction to the Lions schedule....7-9...

2012 comparisons are looking even more apt. Playoff season, bad off season, horrible follow up season.

Except Jim Schwartz is not our Head Coach and we have Jim Caldwell as our HC and Teryl Austin as our DC.

That and our team is much more talented and we have a Matthew Stafford poised to hit his prime and an offense with legit #2 and #3 receivers. Remember our #2 recievers from 2012? Kris Durham.

Are we supposed to be scared of AFC West teams now? Our 2011 playoff season we played AFC West teams.

Week 1 - Sunday, Sept. 13 - at San Diego Chargers W
Week 2 - Sunday, Sept. 20 - at Minnesota Vikings W
Week 3 - Sunday, Sept. 27 - vs. Denver Broncos W
Week 4 - Monday, Oct. 5 - at Seattle SeahawksL
Week 5 - Sunday, Oct. 11 - vs. Arizona Cardinals W
Week 6 - Sunday, Oct. 18 - vs. Chicago Bears W
Week 7 - Sunday, Oct. 25 - vs. Minnesota Vikings W

I think you can change the L to Seattle with one of Minnesota games but I see us starting 6-1, 5-2 at worst, and that's great considering we'll be playing mostly on the road.

Sorry but old man Peyton Manning and the Arizona Cardinals don't scare me. We'll see how we draft but this offense should be dropping 30 points a game this year. No excuses.

My early view...

Week 1: at San Diego Chargers L
Week 2: at Minnesota Vikings W
Week 3: Denver Broncos L
Week 4: at Seattle Seahawks L
Week 5: Arizona Cardinals L
Week 6: Chicago Bears W
Week 7: Minnesota Vikings W
Week 8: at Kansas City Chiefs (London) L
Week 9: Bye
Week 10: at Green Bay Packers L
Week 11: Oakland Raiders W
Week 12: Philadelphia Eagles L
Week 13: Green Bay Packers W
Week 14: at St. Louis Rams L
Week 15: at New Orleans Saints L
Week 16: San Francisco 49ers W
Week 17: at Chicago Bears W

7-9. This team hasn't won against good teams on the road in years, and a lot of questions remain. I don't think the defense will take a major step back without Suh, but the fact that we didn't improve our secondary worries me. That secondary was diced whenever the d-line couldn't pressure the QB, as we saw against NE and Dallas especially. I have confidence in Slay at CB, but the other CB spot...I don't see how starting a 35 year old Rasheen Mathis is going to work.

On the plus side the defense will be getting back some valuable pieces. Tulluch will be back, and it's unlikely that we'll have nightmare injuries again that decimate our nickle package. I like Ngata as well as the young DT we got from the Saints. I also think Ansash could take a leap in production; this is his first offseason where he's been healthy and able to participate in everything.

Offense...I'm not sold. I'm just not sold on Stafford as a QB who can lead us to anything of worth. Weapons wise...Megatron hasn't been healthy in years but will still limp close to 1000 yards. Tate will probably be great again, so no worries on that front. But who is the third threat? I'm not sold on Ebron. The rest of our WRs are weak.

Then there's the o-line. Has to be a draft priority.

We'll see how we draft but this offense should be dropping 30 points a game this year. No excuses.

I'll hold you to this.
