NFL Offseason Thread |OT3| Mock draft Central sponsored by the Shirtless League

Guys, how much do autographed footballs sell for? My wife got a football with Connor Barwin's autograph donated to her work for a charity auction and she has no clue where to start the bidding.

Looks like my Colts and Eagles ruined some draft boards with their WR picks. Shows how weak other position groups are, I think

Seems like a lot of Falcons fans are hoping for either Landon Collins or Eric Kendricks in the 2nd round.

And we should celebrate the Beasley pick by getting some hot dogs...........with ketchup on them!

Cross post but I like Preston Smith or Eddie Goldman for the Giants at 40. Address DLine then and in the third look at Kurtis Drummond at safety.

Some interesting notes on why the Broncos took Shane Ray and traded Ramirez. Seems they might use him at line backer. If only Shane Ray had been in CO on monday he would not be in trouble and not a Bronco.

The pick comes with context. The Broncos waived defensive end Quanterus Smith this week after he failed a physical because of a balky left knee, leaving Lerentee McCray as the top backup. In addition, DeMarcus Ware, in the second season of a three-year deal, is 33 and posted one sack over the final seven games last season. The Broncos could ease Ray into the mix as a third-down specialist given the presence of Ware and Von Miller.

Ramirez, whose fit in the zone-blocking system was uncertain and whose exit provides $3 million in salary cap relief.

Heard this on the radio. Disgusting. Thank god for the Eagles. Chip you saved my life last night, I'm forever grateful.

How many high cost weapons does Stafford need? Last year was a very deep WR draft which resulted in many guys doing quite well last season. Instead of doing what Green Bay and others did (ie drafting a solid WR in later rounds), we splurged in the first round for a weapon. A weapon with problems dropping the ball. Granted Stafford solved the drop problem by simply overthrowing Ebron, maybe I should give him credit.

Whatever, we drafted a guy I like. Hopefully today we get a DT and RB, although I wouldn't mind a CB. No excuse for a WR today.

To be fair I am only saying this because Bill picked him. I do not trust my team when it comes to drafting defensive talent.

I have a fool proof scientific analysis of Bill's drafting prowess...the closer the position lines up to the football (offense or defense) the higher probability the player will succeed. Ergo, I am quite comfortable with the Malcom Brown selection.

Never doubt just how much a WR3 with first round pedigree can improve Staffords eating habits.

It's somewhat amazing to me that the Colts didn't go OL. Go figure.

For a team that wants to pound the rock, they don't seem to care about who's blocking up front.

Lets see what the Bills do, they need OL/DL/LB/CB/S. If they take Petty I'm switching allegiances, I shit you not I will fucking be a Seahawks fan by the end of the night.

No need for Petty.

Chris Mortensen reports that #Texans are fielding trade offers for CB Jonathan Joseph & #Cardinals are listening to offers for Michael Floyd

Joseph is due $8 milllion this year but 0 next year

How are the Bills at CB? Rex always loved Joseph

Hmm... the Patriots happen to need a good veteran cornerback...

Don't they have a fair amount of cap space too?

$10 million, though there's no way they'd go into the season with only $2 million available. He'd probably have to take a pay cut or restructure to come, which isn't impossible.

Yeah, figured there would probably have to be some adjustment on his cap number if it happens.

That #2, #1 is trying to protect Luck. It's amazing what he can do while running for his life but he can't keep that up forever.
Cavemen can handle a lot more punishment than us homo sapiens.

Compared to running from sabertooth tigers and wrestling wooly mammoths (how he grew up), running from 300 lb lineman is probably a piece of cake for Luck.
