I don't care what you say, I love Jones! Dude is all over the field, he rarely misses tackles, and he is great in coverage. I'm glad they paid the man.Oh I could think of one team :/

This is the first time I ever talked about it. It popped up as a recommended book for me in Audible on Saturday and since I am traveling this week and just finished two non-fiction books I needed some fiction. No idea what the fuck it is but it looked like some dumb bullshit that Dragon would spank to.
Naturally I bought it on the spot.
Haven't really gotten into the book series. I really enjoyed Elantris but Sanderson's writing style seems very distant, his conversation style poor, and his characterizations boring. He writes good magic systems and that can largely carry people through otherwise banal books.
Sanderson is prolific though I'll give him that, he writes a ton of stuff.
I'm going to laugh when the Browns offer Byrd a huge deal, he signs elsewhere, then they reach on Southward in the second or something. I will never, ever stop laughing.
Ah, I'm with you. I don't know what I was thinking anyway, Jones is getting something like 7 million a year.I got no problem with jones, he worked for that pay day. It's paying someone 9 million that isn't a need on a team full of them, but you know dolphins gonna dolphin...

Congrats Gata!
Welcome back ez. I missed part of the conversation, so you're reading way of kings? How far are you? WoK is one of my favorite books!!
It should be the fucking Eagles, $9m is nothing for a player like that who can singlehandedly change their defense. But no safeties are not allowed to be picked in the first round, or paid real money. So instead they will get some discount garbage that is barely an upgrade over Chung and allen and then they will wonder why the defense losses them another playoff game next year.
I dont understand how you can call me a Jag fan when you should be a Raider fan.
I'd gladly welcome Chris to the RaiderNation. That's an honor, not an insult.

The #Patriots are re-signing TE Michael Hoomanawanui, per source, on a 2-year deal (as @Rand_Getlin said)
I dont understand how you can call me a Jag fan when you should be a Raider fan.
I wouldnt wish being a Raider fan on my worst enemy.
cue another season of announcers screwing up his name

Well you don't see me wearing a raiders avatar do you?
I wouldn't wish being your friend on my worst enemy.
I truthfully don't know what you're on about here. Maybe I'm misunderstanding? Harrison Smith (29th overall) and Kenny Vaccaro (15th overall) were both selected in the first round in the last 2-3 years. It should be the fucking Eagles, $9m is nothing for a player like that who can singlehandedly change their defense. Agreed. Thankfully Hickey is the voice of reason in this world of chaos so whatever happens will be the best case outcome.Don't get me wrong having byrd would be awesome but for 9 million I'd rather sign soliai or starks (which both seem to be moving on from miami) or getting a LB, but we'll see what phlibin/hickey have planned.
I wouldnt want to be your friend. You would probably try to stab me to get in your favorite gang.

One GM today on free-agent RBs: "That position needs its own union. We treat our equipment people better than we treat our running backs."
We can't all be upstanding citizens like Hernandez.
Eh, I dunno about that Dodge.. have you ever been to the Coliseum?
Ouch.
I hate these kind of .gifs where there is a caption but the person is clearly only saying one or two of the words. So annoying. Step up yo' game, Dragon!Gif bookmarked.
Hernandez was probably a Raider fan growing up. Makes sense now.

That's your top 3 paid safeties in the league. Here's your top 25:

Byrd is essentially asking to be the top paid safety in the league.
Too bad Macho never worked out in the NFL. I loved him at VT.Under Reid the organizational belief was that safeties are not that important and should never be taken in the first round, also you dont pay them big money and instead put guys like Macho Harris and Quinton Demps out there. It seems like, if the reports are true, that the current people in charge feel the same way. Eagles have $30m in cap room and no safeties and yet supposedly are balking at paying Bryd what he is worth. I do realize that not all teams are this insane when it comes to 2/11ths of their defense.
sorry gata. He wasn't one of those CT people who end up as a NY fan

Kap in for games against the Packers, and Vick in for the rest of the reasonReport: 49ers a darkhorse contender for Michael Vick

Pete Carroll and John Schneider had two picks in the first round in their first NFL draft at Seattle, and they used their second one on FS Earl Thomas after using the other on LT Russell Okung.
Priorities.

Can't hit the ball if you don't swing the bat!Remember when they traded a draft pick for Maurice Clarett
Titanfall reviews hitting in one minute. Nice knowing you guys.
No doubt that thread will be a bloodbath. Online only, and Xbox console exclusive, god I shudder to think about all the banings it will produce.

One attuned insider's safety predictions: Byrd to #Browns, Ward to #Broncos, (W)Hitner stays with #49ers.
