A 7.1 is considered good, which will make EA happy enough as long as the game sells millions. I wish I could find that EA interview again where EA brass states they don't try to reinvent the wheel with their games, but as long as the game gets good scores and sells well they are happy.

Yup. I couldn't play more than three full games of NFL Street before I had to turn it off and trade it in before the value dropped on it.

NBA Street, on the other hand, was fun all the way through... almost as addictive as NBA Jam / Hangtime / Showtime.

I was just replayin the original the last few nights,the game was really underrated IMO,it was so much better than Blitz or any other arcade football game.

I'm gettin 2,the runnin on walls looks sweet,plus Im assuming they added alot of new plays.

I'll definitely be picking it up. Some of the new game types look like great multiplayer fun. Smear the "Not queer because that's offensive" looks fun as does that receiving catchoff

Heh, I've "admitted" to liking tons of EA games over the years, I've probably praised Tricky itself dozens of times. Just because I think exclusive licenses are generally a bad thing, doesn't mean I'm TEH BIAS toward EA in any way. Shit, I even told you in another thread I own both NBA Street Vol. 1 & 2, so sorry I can't be characterized as an EA HATER, just an objective observer.

I did play NHL and NFL2kTO online (before the new Madden came out), but I can't get Live when I'm NY (9 months of the year) unfortunately.

Can't blame EA for that one. Gamespot was the one who game it that review. I guess you can blame Nintendo for lack of online. Or we can blame Gamespot for thinking that's reason enough to dock it points. Either way, it's still only .2 points, and the people who like this kind of thing are gonna buy it anyway, regardless of what Gamespot says.
