Decided to watch the game.

HAHAHAHA

Holy shit, was like watching a college teams vs a NFL one. Can't blame Manning though as the entire team was dog shit. Absolutely laughable.

This was a schooling in every sense of the word.

Wow shit talking from Browns fans...

Only Super Bowl you motherfuckers will ever make is scrubbing the toilets of the other 31 teams in the league, yet they'll still do a piss poor job and cleaning under the rim
I mean your called the Browns for fuck sakes, there's a reason

I mean you have Kave as your banner guy, that alone should tell you to jump ship

Fuck even Jaguar fans would commit suicide to rep for that dip shit of a team

Hey Browns fans try to sniff the playoffs before talking shit
You irrelevant
Only time you'll be in the news again is the #1 draft pick or if Jim Brown dies and they show the true great highlights of your team from yester-year

Disfunk punk bitches

Taking the loss well I see.

He's not very jolly...

People were dropping balls and missing tackles. All that was needed was one of the Broncos running backwards. Absolutely embarrassing.

What did they do all week? What was their game plan going into this?

I kept waiting for their offense to take off, but it just never happened. Kinda felt bad.

Whut? Tate's been a playmaker all season. Hell, he's made some of the best plays in the league this year. Our WR core needs folks like him to make it work, IMO and it'd be a damn shame if we lost him this year as I think he's up for free agency. When our pass game gets going, it works and we need folks like him.

truthbomb

How do you die hard nfl fans cope with no football for almost eight months? Here in the UK I go crazy when premier league football is off for even a week for shitty internationals. I can't imagine eight months of no soccer.

It sucks. This year will be better since we've got the Olympics (curling, baby!) and the World Cup this summer. Toss in the NBA and March Madness and it should be better than most years.

The sad part is that college team beat 15 other teams this season if you count the post-season, including my Chiefs twice. :/

The fact of the matter is they had a terrible defense and relied on outscoring their opponents by a million points to win games. They really hadn't faced any defenses of note before the SB. Our division played the NFC LEast this season, and those teams were all hot garbage. Heck, the Chiefs swept them.

Long story short: a team with a dominant defense shut down a team that had been steamrolling relatively weak competition all season. No surprise. I wouldn't have predicted that kind of a score, mind you, but the results were obvious.

I only ever watch ESPN on Monday nights for football and even then I don't switch to the channel until kickoff. I've been watching them all morning and laughing my ass off. I can't believe they ALL thought Denver would win. I can understand it being even voting or whatever but how could a station devoted to sports be so wrong? The NFL channel guys went mostly Seattle. Oh well, time to continue my avoidance of ESPN for another 9 months.

The first 3 months is awful because of winter, but once the spring hits i forget about football until training camp...

I found this one on reddit, but I'm certain there's a shot with closer framing, that really showed the range of expression on mannings face. Would make me smile to see it in gif form (This ones just too tiny). Or if someone could point me towards a video source I could easily make the gif.

We Americans don't put all our eggs in one basket. Usually if you're a fan of a football team, you're a fan of teams from other sports.

No where else to post this and I need to vent, but I suppose I'll get laughed at here, so why not.

I posted on r/nfl about how I felt that Wilson had intentional grounded the ball, but later was made aware that Zack Miller was in the area (hey I was incredibly drunk, so I missed that one of our TEs that kinda looks like our crappy O guys, SORRY, HUGE MISTAKE! -_-). Just annoyed the shit out of me that fellow fans would sit there and downvote me for a mistake and wanting to insinuate that we won cleanly with no ref calls helping us at all. Obviously the blow-out proved it, but the point was missed by fact police downvoting me to oblivion for a mistake as opposed to the message.

Makes me wonder if my fellow 12s are going to stay humble after this win. :/

Reddit's not worth getting frustrated over.

Downvoted.

I think Seattle is touchy about comments about calls, for good reason. All season long it's been about our D getting away with interference, the 49ers went on about calls that supposedly cost them the Superbowl, been called dirty all season. I'm sure reddit went overboard but after that blowout last night, no one wants to hear it.

Yeah I suppose so, but they helped point me in the right direction in places to hang out here in the bay during the games that were 'hawk friendly. So I guess that's why it's annoying as shit.

Then again, those times we went to the bar, we didn't feel very welcomed either because we didn't wear the expensive jerseys everyone else did maybe. I don't know.

Maybe I just need to get outside heh.

They're destined to become this decade's pats fans.

That's the price of victory isn't it? :(

Holy....! ;D ;D!
Laughing my ass of here ;D!

Awesome game by the Seahawks, don't agree with Peyton that this was not an embarrassing loss.

Don't see the Seahawks becoming a dynasty though. They are pretty lucky that they have plenty of playmakers who are on the rooster cheap (QB is cheaper than most backups on other teams for example). They might have to let go of a couple of playmakers since they cannot pay everyone to what their market value is.

They will not drop off like the Ravens though, next year will be interesting in the NFC West. The winner of the West division will most likely go to the SB and have a good shot at it.

Only really bad call in the game was the missed PI call against Seattle down field towards the end of the 2nd half that would have put the Broncos on about the 5 yard line. Even as a Denver fan I can't imagine it would have changed the momentum enough to change the winner, even if they had scored.

Seattle has one more season before the salary cap madness begins. Many of their top players are still on rookie contracts. It will be impossible to hang on to everyone, but that's how the system works. They have to keep drafting and developing young talent, just like everyone else.

seachickens have some good years ahead of them but i don't know about dynasty. lets be honest, they were a blown call against us (vs. saints) or a fluke win for them (against texans) away from having to play the NFC title game on the road and does seattle win the nfc title game in san fran? i can't say for sure but my unbiased gut feeling is no they don't.

still, i have to imagine wussle will get better and perhaps their o-line (although were their offensive line struggles that their line sucks or that the teams that caused them problems had great defense? denver didn't sniff wussle once last night but he got mauled by the niners in the NFC title game). defensively they will obviously stay elite as i don't believe they are losing anyone of note.

niners have a tougher road to stay an elite team. our defense is getting older and we have contracts due sooner. we haven't drafted well recently (i guess 2013 the jury is still out with injured players but i'm not counting on anything and 2012 was a joke) and we just can't seem to get our youngsters on offense into the mix. our only hope is that kap develops more as a qb since he will likely break the bank

It's really going to be a matter or how they're going to fare once they have to pay their players. Obviously Wilson is gonna get paid when he's up and all the defensive pieces. Is Wilson the guy who can carry a team if the defense isn't keeping up their end of the deal?
