Especially considering the games the Bears narrowly lost and Packers narrowly won were at home.
These ones are in Detroit.

And Lions won't have to put up with Stafford's horrible decision making half the game this time.
Let's be real here. The Lions D is almost as bad a Houston's. Almost.

are you claiming the Lions have the second worst defense in NFL history?

I'll say this much. I like our chances against the Niners better than the Lions, especially with a hurt Gore. Remember that the Lions were pretty much dominating the Patriots game until the end of the 3rd quarter.

At this point, I'm happy with at least part of this season no matter how it ends. Spanking Minny at home and at Lambeau is one of the greatest things to come out of this season.

I also know that Green Bay is a draft pick or two away from at least a 13 win season. We play the AFC West next year I think and even if things remain status quo, it should be nice!

Tampa will lose. Won't be close. That's why.

42-10 Green Bay

Healthy Jermichael and better special teams is all that is needed.

Patriots also have a terrible defense. Bears are much better in that regard.
Lions have the edge with their front D against the Bears O-Line.

honestly the bears offensive line has the most problems with speed rushers and blitzes from the outside be it from CBs, safeties, or LBs. i think we can keep cutler upright on sunday

This post is going to be so funny in hindsight when Cutler and Co. beat you guys.
If it makes you feel better I think the bears are real but there are just so many funny images of Cutler.

@wingoz

more qb issues for Det. Shaun HIll with a splint on his index finger on his throwing hand...stafford already on IR

He corrected himself saying that Stafford, while not on IR, is likely not playing the rest of the season.

Eh, I never really got that "for real" tag. What if the Bears are for real but lose in the division championships? Is a team that loses in the Super Bowl for real? AFC/NFC Championship?

Were the Jets"for real" last season? What about the Cards in '08? How long does "for real" last?

hmmmm. To play Calvin Johnson / Bradsaw / Britt (if he's back) / Eddie Royal.

Hmmmmmm

EDIT: NM, I just flexed Mike Tolbert in place.

Well, it's subjective. I think many people would consider the Colts lats year "For real". they really dominated most of the games.

Its just personal opinion. Everyone has their own rubric.

It's just another thing analysts make up to give themselves a purpose.

Got my two (free!) tickets for the Carolina/Atlanta game in Charlotte next week. Can't wait for my first NFL game to be one cheering a potential 1-11 team! :lol

I think getting past the first round of the playoffs is "for real" since you can get there in odd ways that don't feel legit. So yes, to me, if the NFC West winner wins their first playoff game, then that means they're "for real"....for the playoffs. Especially considering that much of professional football is getting hot at the right time.

Actually it'd be weird to see the meltdowns if a 6-10 NFC West team wins the Super Bowl. So if the Packers don't get into the playoffs, this might be my backup plan to root for :lol

Edit: if Shaun Hill doesn't play, nevermind what I said about the Lions giving the Bears a game. If you guys can't get by Drew Stanton, you probably don't even deserve to play in the Big 10.

fell good story of the year, and if a 6-10 or 7-9 nfc west team wins the super bowl, it would kill all talks of afc dominance.

Equus, who is in your avatar and where is she from? It look sooo familar but I just don't know.

And is that a ranking? Turrible if you ask me...: )

Ben wearing a boot but plans to play.

Seeing the way the NFL is legislating fights I hope Ben wears the boot to the game and kicks a few Ravens players with it in the balls.

the NFL is actually harder on fights than they used to be. 20 years ago receiver/DBs would come to blows often without penalties or ejections. Short of helmet removal.

Unfortunately, Ben isn't as gentle as Andre the Giant. Especially when dealing with anything sexual. Who knows what he'll do to a pair of well taken care of balls with what he's been already caught playing with.

They flexed us to 4:15.....for what?

Dallas and Indy is clearly a marquee matchup and a possible superbowl preview though.
That pisses me off the most. If you're gonna flex the game to 4:15, at least have a good reason for doing so. Now we have to wait an additional three hours. :|

At least we avoid Buck/Aikman though!

It's official, Frank Gore on IR. Fuck, we wasted his career.

Huge game for us on Sunday. One thing I can say about Singletary is at least the team hasn't quit on him. If we can somehow manage to beat the Packers (lol) we will probably win the division.
