Atlanta are only a contender in their shitty conference.

Today's owning and that Kansas City debacle are downright disturbing.

BAM. Bears stop Vikes on 4th down. ABUSED.

seriously, the bears would totally be a lock-in play-off team in the NFC if they even had offense as mediocre as it is today. sigh

Well it's all up to Baltimore's Defense... normally I'd be comfortable about that... but their pass coverage has been VERY suspect in the 2nd half.... color me worried.

How many more TD's does manning need to beat Marino? Oh 4 more... he's got those easily unless he gets knocked out before the season ends.

YES PALMER SACKED! WAY TO GO BALTIMORE D!

And then they turn around and give up a HUGE bomb to TJ again... g*ddammit!

TJ has repeatedly owned Reed, Demps, Baxter, McAllister, whomever is covering him.... and with that the Bengals are in FG range... <sigh>

goddamit, Griese!
the pass coverage for the ravens....what the hell?
if they can be lit up(for them, anyway) by the bengals, what's gonna happen when they play the colts coming up?

very bad game from the ravens from what i saw. now a 12 men call...nice :lol

titans haven't scored since the 1st quarter. ouch.

also, culpepper and the vikes getting abused by urlacher and the bears. urlacher is the surest tackler i've ever seen, even against culpepper.
I wonder if the Colts go back into the locker room and say "ok, let's try and get more points than Peyton has touchdown passes."

manning's benched. bollocks.

i swear if the colts blow this lead to less than 11 points i am gonna be majorly fucking pissed

for a team that is supposed to be a contender, atlanta sure has been blown out a lot.

It's been twice. And all you Bucs fans you still are one loss from being out of the playoffs.

colts are 20 yards away from setting the single game record for most yards in a game :lo

edit: beaten to it

The Colts even lost two possessions to onside kicks, and 3 to turnovers and had 2 TDs dropped in the end zone..... :lol :lol :lol :lol

Speaking of steroids:

http://msn.foxsports.com/story/3219322

For years, curious eyebrows have been raised from players and fans alike regarding the freakish body of Pro Bowl wide receiver David Boston.

Many have long suspected him of bulking up his massive frame with the use of anabolic steroids, this despite constant denials from the Dolphins' wideout.
Now it appears such speculation may be true.

FOX NFL Sunday has learned that Boston is currently facing a four-game suspension from the NFL for violating its policy on anabolic steroids. Boston is now in the appeals portion of the process. Should he drop or lose the appeal, he will not only be suspended immediately, but he will also lend credence to years of questioning by teammates, opponents, coaches and fans.

:lol

Ravens can place this loss squarely on the defense... pass coverage was absolute ass in the 2nd half.

Oh well time to flip back and forth between Giants/Redkins and Eagles/Packers.

bears have houston, detroit, jacksonville, and green bay left to play. 8-8 is very possible, with 9-7 being a long shot. i think if they win out they get in at 9-7....

I think it'll play out as L/W/L/L leaving them at 6-10...

What the hell? All of a sudden, the Redskins are playing like the team everybody thought they were going to be.

Cool glad to see Portis getting good run yardage.

more proof today that the falcons will be one and done in the playoffs. throw out whatever stats you want, but true contenders dont get crushed by 20+ playing against non-playoff teams. it has happened twice to the falcons. hate to be a negative nancy tmdorsey, but put a fork in the falcons they're done!

Favre with an INT already.... looking so sad and lonely sitting on the bench.. come on man you are the incredible Brett Favre, snap out of it! :lol

TO with a TD already....

Let me say right now that as long as the Eagles or Patriots do NOT win the Superbowl I will be happy.

Yes my hate is that deep.

OMG do the Giants look horrible. They are playing like the worst team in Football.

Well it's clear now that Coughlin's promise to eliminate the "cancer of injuries" isn't going to be fullfilled. It's also obvious to me that he fucked up with the QB switch. Not only did he bring in Manning against the toughest stretch of the Giants' schedule in terms of opposing defenses (Philly, Wash., Pittsburg, Baltimore) but he's not even letting the kid throw the ball deep. The Giants didn't give up so much to get the kid to lead a "dink and dunk" offense.

giants playcalling has been retarded. Tiki Barber was looking like a serious elite RB this season (no fumbling) and yet they don't run him nearly enough. it's always easier on the rookie to have him hand off to your already established, good RB too.
