EVERY SINGLE GAME the announcers say at least 10 times "This is such a physical game", "these teams are so physical", "what a physical play", "he is just such a physical player"

Spectral Glider said:You've gotta be kidding me. On the steelers first TD drive all I heard was joe telling us how the Jags were stuffing every play. Then after they score, he narrates a highlight package telling me how impressive the plays were. That's when they did manage to squeeze something about the steelers in between repeating over and over how this was the Jags playoff game. And Fred Taylor is the most awesome runner of all time with his 2.9 average but Duce, who's averaging 3.1 on 10 fewer carries, should go sit in favor of the Bus. Whatever. These guys suck pure cow balls at announcing.

Solid game by the Steelers. I was impressed because they somehow found a way to win a game they really didn't deserve to win. Jags pretty much dominated the line of scrimmage on both side of the ball. Considering that is our strong point, I am just happy we got out of there with a win. I don't know what the fuck happened on our 3rd down defenses, we weren't getting anywhere near their qb. And our offensive line needs to pick it up, there are times where we totally fall apart against the blitz and sometimes 2 or 3 guys come through untouched.
FrenchMovieTheme said:the announcers were jocking the SHIT out of big ben.
anyways, did anyone else think it was a dumb move to spike that ball by the steelers? it was 2nd and 1, you could have run it and gotten the first, then let the clock run down and spike. or, even if you didn't make the 1st, you could let the clock run and spike. the jags came inches away from winning that ballgame because of bad clock management. i understand you want to have confidence that your D can make a stop w/ 17 seconds left and only 1 timeout for the other team, but you dont leave jack shit to chance in the nfl. the steelers were lucky as hell the jags didn't have 5 more yards of field position, because if they did that FG would have squeezed just inside the right upright and they would have gone home losers. as it turned out that DIDNT happen, but bad clock management is going to cost them down the road if they dont learn from that
