Yup, sweeping the Saints is just as hard as sweeping the Falcons. I still see us as very easily matched teams, and the Saints have way more to play for by this point in the season. You will clench division before our game.

Chances are good that we will play a 3rd time in the playoffs.

I wouldn't write off Seattle completely. One of the best home fields in football.

Bless you.

I know he has been playing like shit but I want to use this image!

I'd kill to play against Sanchez!

bu...bu...but we've only lost 2 games on the road.

Haters gonna hate...etc.
This isn't Carolina or Tampa. These are the might Hasselbeck Seahawks!

Why not beat them on 12/27 and hope that the Ravens will have come through. Then we don't have to worry about them anymore.

Have you seen the Packers play lately? And the Bucs aren't beating the Saints.

All these Bears picks scare me.

I expect a tough game with the Vikings.

Its a huge game for the Bears, that's for sure. I actually expect it to be very sloppy (ala the Redskins/Bears game)

Giants LB Clint Sintim done for the year. Both Mario Manningham and Steve Smith "sore."
Both Smith and Manningham are going in for MRI's. We should hopefully know more tomorrow. I doubt Smith is playing Sunday against the Eagles. Manningham is the bigger question mark. If both he and Nicks can go, Hagan can take over that third spot nicely.

I don't know how I feel about O'Hara coming back. I get putting Diehl back in the lineup and if Andrews can come back, even better but Seubert has just been too good at Center and considering how good the run game has been - I don't want to see any major disruptions.

Fun fact.....

Giants scored more points than the entire NFC north...

21-20:lol :lol :lol

Giants join the elite company of 17 other teams this week. What an achievement.

The Patriots will be relaxing, they have clinched, they are on top of the world right now. GB will stun them and they will fight back. But in the end, remember one thing, Brady is a ham and the cheese always ends up on top.

lolwut somebody made it to the playoffs w/ mcnabb ..

Maybe that is what Livewire was talking about before the season started when he said that Mcnabb would make the playoffs is year for sure. :p

He's been using the waiver wire to fill the QB position all season, from Sanchez to Kitna to Bradford and then to McNabb. I'd probably do the same thing if I had the RB's (Johnson and Foster) and WR's (Roddy and Calvin) that he has.

2 concussions so far this year...do you really think he'll play?
I think it's as likely as not. If the league clears him there is no way he won't. The reason he doesn't slide is because he thinks people will call him a pussy, he has a big chip on his shoulder about it (that's what happens when you're a Berkely Golden Bear). No way will he sit out a game if he is cleared. The second part of that equation, McCarthy, has always deferred to players on health issues. If they say they can go he lets them go, as it should be.

Do you still stand by your early season prediction that GB will drop 81 on NE?

No way can I stand by that, though at the time I made it it was completely legit [I say a lot of things].

I appreciate you letting me revise it. If Flynn starts we score 81. If Rodgers starts we crack 100.

Man. I'm in first place in my league right now and I'm in a slump. I have AP, Ray Rice, Peyton, VD, Roddy, Calvin, and Nicks. I have not gone over 100 the past 5 weeks.

ARod will become one of my favorite players (joining the ranks of Peyton Manning, Jake Plummer, and Eli Manning) if the Packers rush him back and he finds a way to beat the Patriots.

I don't see it happening, but on the brighter side of things at least we won't have to face the Pats in Heinz field for the AFC Championship this year! Hopefully there is a different result that comes with the change in venue!

And what do all the fans want for x-mas? I can see that the Redskins fans want a coach, a qb and a competent owner for next year. Looks like Pats fans want to see the end of days and a 4th Superbowl ring. I see one Eagles fan in Philadelphia wants to see McNabb suffer needlessly (I think you already got that wish yankeehater). Woah, I think FMT's request to Santa is banworthy.

For myself. Santa, all I want for x-mas is to finally see the Steelers beat the Pats in the playoffs and a vial of Pat fans' tears after the game for me to drink.

Eznark, what do you cite for that clusterfuck against the Lions?

Didn't really get a good look at protection, seemed like Flynn had tons more time though.
That and shitty playcalling was shit.

Curious what people saw on TV opposed to the field.

We got demolished up front. It all starts and ends there, really. Flynn had (arguably) more time because they played a much more vanilla defense...because they didn't respect him for a second.

All that being said, I still have no respect for the Patriots defense and like our secondary far more than the Bears. While we will probably get blown out, I think we might be able to make it a game.

LOL!! Great post. Can you imagine the reactions of Skins fans if you had said that in the off season right after they got Mcnabb? All I want is for the Eagles to wind up as the 2nd seed this year, hopefully the rest will take ccare of itself after that.
