Why? I carry an id, credit card, conceal carry permit and that's about it.
Two credit cards (Am Ex is not accepted everywhere), health insurance cards (3 or 4 can't remember how many), license, two attorney license cards, AAA card, subway card, panera card, starbucks card, and a wad of cash.

Where do you keep your library card?

I know, libraries are for poors, right, right...
I am not poor and have a library card.

Not for myself, for the kids. They love going to the library and looking at books. Barnes and Nobles is kind of the same thing. I really should buy a book from there one of these days...

For some reason, I have my 7th, 8th, high school IDs and first 3 drivers licenses, as well.

Nothing wrong with the library, I was just expecting a response from Ez as such. I have a library card, but like you said, it's for kids books. Now that my older kid is reading, we get her tons of books. Makes no sense to buy books for kids. Honestly, doesn't make sense to buy books for adults either when you can rent them for free, but I do it anyway. My bookshelf makes me look smart.

Can you explain the appeal of conceal carry to me?

I can see why shooting/owning/carrying a gun would appeal to someone, but doesn't concealing them run counter to any purpose they could have?

(Not trying to derail the thread, just looking for a quick answer)

Edit: Blarry, what do you need 3 drivers licenses for?

Office key card, credit card, 2 debit cards (I really should just close one), insurance, dental, license, CTA card, cash.

Can't imagine what I can leave out. I imagine this is pretty typical of a lean carrier.

People in the US love guns dude. That is the explanation.

Also, if you carry a big enough gun in your holster, pocket or fanny pack, no one is going to notice how small your penis is. Thats why Brady carries around a mini gun.

You should put all those cards on your passport in your iphone.

well you can't just walk around with a gun showing on your hip...unless your obviously an officer of some kind.

One current, one old CA, and one old MD one. I mostly use the MD one when someone questions my fandom.

Does that passport thing actually work now? I just have a photo album for them. My insurance providers all have apps for their cards so I don't need to carry those.

You can open carry in a lot of states.

I do find peanut as awesome. But, I remember the same trash against the packers by bears. I am actually surprise to see lovey team talk this much trash. Must be desperation.

Personally i dont mind it. Bears are gonna go all out.

I know Starbucks has an app and I use that, but usually my phone is plugged into my car when I go through a drive through and it is just easier to use the actual card.

This might change when we get wireless payments and maybe I can just hit a button on my phone.

I did not know I could get an app about the insurance info. I have Blue Cross and will be looking into that.

Loool, Greg McElroy went from abdominal issues and playing to concussion and not playing and Sanchez is going to start.

Sounds like one big last "fuck you" from Tannenbaum before he gets fired.

I need a wallet and only wish I could go to something that small.

I carry around too many cards and cash to fit it into something that small.

I hope mine never bloats to what George was carrying around on Seinfeld (my Dad's wallet is kind of like that).

Sounds like you aren't too far from that.

One of the reasons I wanted the wallet was I wanted to force myself to cut the number of cards I carried to the bare minimum. Now I just carry my driver's license/id, one credit card, a debit card, health insurance card, transit card, and a gift card. I hardly every have much cash on me, so this works perfect.

An added bonus is when I do carry cash, how easy it is to count the bills have on me.

No idea why it's redirecting you. But, here's the important bit:

The defense put the wraps on the record-setting Lions wide receiver during the Oct. 22 meeting at Soldier Field, a 13-7 Bears win. Johnson has 1,300 receiving yards in nine games since then and has surpassed Hall of Famer Jerry Rice for the most yards in a season. Johnson needs 108 on Sunday at Ford Field to reach 2,000.

"It would be cool if we did," Tillman said, balancing his lunch as he stood talking. "But I don't know how."

Johnson is on that kind of roll, coming off an 11-catch, 225-yard performance against the Falcons on Saturday. He has had eight consecutive 100-yard games and has 117 receptions for 1,892 yards with five touchdowns.

"He can do everything," Tillman said. "He's the LeBron James of football. If you could create a player — that's Calvin Johnson. Size, speed, hands, agility, quickness, strength."

And it is cool that the game means something. I guess it worked out like the NFL hoped, just not in the way they probably intended.

My sister in law just moved to Memphis for a new job. I'd say she has a reason for getting her a conceal carry permit.

On the other hand, zero reason to have one in the Woodlands! Getting the wife pepper spray and that's it.

Sounds like Richard Sherman won his appeal.

I looked at the Passbook section of the app store a few days ago for the very first time, and the list of compatible apps just seems pathetically small.

2 people on the same team get busted at the same time

Browner drops the appeal

Sherman is innocent

They teach important life lessons - none of that everybody wins bullshit.

You'll regret it the day you see your kids throwing small birds at your pigs rather than leaning a valuable tradeskill like city planning, advancing America's foreign policy against brownfolk, or dragonslaying. You know, the sort of thing only hardcore games can teach.

My 30 year old man-baby brother was at Christmas just the other day. He and his wife went around cornering people over 55 and telling them about their new videocard and the unique language J.R.R. Tolkein created in the LotR trilogy. Because they're fucking worthless humans that are got damned near starving all of the time, as gifts they got paper towels, laundry soap, etc. Somebody gave him a $25 Visa gift card and he immediately ran to the nearest PC and bought 20 games on Steam with it.

With your guy's guidance, maybe I can raise my kids to be just like him. I fear they will grow up to be financially and socially successful.

Looks like Jason Babin has figured out why the Eagles suck.
The Eagles signed Babin to a five-year, $28 million contract in 2011 and waived him Nov. 27, citing the desire to play younger players. On Wednesday he praised the Jacksonville Jaguars, who claimed him off waivers, and implied that the Eagles thought no one wanted him.

"That was probably their approach because they don't have amicable splits with people," Babin said during a conference call with Tennessee reporters. "You saw how dirty they did [Washburn] with leaking out the false stories and the way they talked about him on the way out. It's kind of a big socialistic system that they have. I didn't really care."

Socialism ruins everything.

I'm sorry

go ahead - raise a Brees!

Chain of custody matters.

Sherman should have won his appeal. Good to see if he did.
I agree that chain of custody is important, but I'm talking about actually believing his innocence given what went down.

Oh yeah no doubt here that he did it and hes a total fucking cheat.

But that doesn't mean he should have been suspended. Like how Ryan Braun was a total fraud and a cheat but should have had his suspension overturned. Same shit in the end.

While I was giving you shit I am kind of Nazi when it comes to television and computer access for my kids. I don't really think I am going to give my kids access to games until they are 10+ and even then it will be strictly moderated.

Still won't be that tablet shit though if and when they get to play games. I am going to fire up a SNES and tell them they can either play some Super Metroid or read a book.

Also, what is your bro's nick on GAF? He must be active on the gaming side!
