Jason Taylor as Ricky Williams(With backpack!) is great, but his wife as Lenny Kravitz just tops it off. Too damn good, though I'm sure he'd take Ricky back if he could :p

I am rooting like HELL for the Packers this week. In addition to being a NY Giants fan...there is also THIS little tradition to consider.

Bullshit, of course -- correlation does not imply causation, etc. -- but it can't hurt to wish a little doom and destruction on the Redskins, now can it?

keep your strippers out of my American football
I'll get in on this too:

Arizona at Buffalo, 1:00 pm
Baltimore at Philadelphia , 1:00 pm
Cincinnati at Tennessee, 1:00 pm
Detroit at Dallas , 1:00 pm
Green Bay at Washington, 1:00 pm
Indianapolis at Kansas City, 1:00 pm
Jacksonville at Houston , 1:00 pm
N.Y. Giants at Minnesota , 1:00 pm
Atlanta at Denver , 4:05 pm
Carolina at Seattle , 4:05 pm
New England at Pittsburgh , 4:15 pm
Oakland at San Diego, 4:15 pm
San Francisco at Chicago, 8:30 pm
Miami at N.Y. Jets , 9:00 pm

Sorry CK, looking at how Detroit did the Giants, I can't see Vikes laying down for them. Also, I don't buy into this whole "Ray vs. TO" thing. Unless Ray is going to start playing as a DB, I can't see it making too much of a difference. Ravens cannot score enough to beat the Eagles. And yes the Texans will win!!! I have to say that because I have season tix.

This is going to be truly epic. Who is more inept, the Vikings run D or that overhyped woman's woman Tiki Barber?

Miguel: I picked the Texans to beat the Titans, and I'd do it again. :)

Earlier weeks I was mostly being the only person to pick the Jags...

I've picked the Jags thrice this year if you actually went back and checked. But nooo...mr Jaguar wants to think he stands alone. :p

I pick at many places. Normally I can find somewhere where nobody will pick the Jags. Speaking of which, have you seen the ESPN expert picks recently?

Looking at the current schedules (Texans/Colts/Jaguars), I'm going to say the AFC South is going to go down to the last games of the season.

Colts
Jan. 2 at Denver Broncos

Jaguars
Jan. 2 at Oakland Raiders

Texans
Jan. 2 vs Cleveland Browns

The way I see it right now, the teams will be
Colts (9-6)
Jaguars (8-7)
Texans (8-7)
Going into the week.

I think the Jags at the moment have the advantage, cause they're 3-0 in division. Colts have the best shot at losing. It may come down to who has the best division record...at least that's what I think the first tiebreaker is.

This division is gonna be fucking close by New Year's....Jan 2nd I will probably be sitting at someone's house that has NFL Sunday Ticket.

What have the Jaguars done to make one believe that they will go 3-5 over the next 8 games? I honestly can't say I expect more than 2 losses left for them. The only tough stretch they have is Detroit(Who may yet be exposed), Tennessee (Who, in theory, should be a good team), Minnesota(a very up and down team, but it's in Minnesota), and Pittsburgh. I just don't see them losing more than half of those games, not the way they are improving. Maybe throw in Green Bay, but I'm not entirely convinced about them either. The Colts are in a similar situation to Jacksonville, with pretty much the same opponents left. There's no way either of those teams is a 9 win club.

Also, Jaguars aren't 3-0 in the division, they split with the Colts.

The Texans easily have the most difficult schedule ahead of them, not to mention that they are the weakest of those three teams(I think they'll finish below the Titans if McNair stays healthy enough to get back to form). They've got 8 easily losable games left ahead of them.

Well, they could. Depends whether the weakness exposed in the defence a few weeks back is really put away, and whether the offence is actually picking up or just being made to look good by poor defences against KC and Indy. The Texans game should be a damn fine place to find that out.

10-6 tops

At this point, I see them as an 11-12 win team, yes. Looking at that schedule and seeing how they have played (And how Leftwich keeps getting better), it isn't out of reach at all. Granted, as iapetus mentioned, the offense has been playing well against poor defenses, but they are still a better than solid defensive team. Plus, Fred Taylor has yet to get on a roll. I think they're the best all-around team in the division.

Heh, not a single "Non-Houstonian" picked the Texans to win. Just like I like it. :D

A short time ago in a stadium far, far away...

It is a period of division war. Rebel Texans, striking from Reliant Stadium, have won their first victory against the evil Titans Empire. During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the AFC South's ultimate weapon, AllTel Stadium, an armored stadium with enough power to draw a Super Bowl in Febuary. Pursued by Jacksonville's sinister Defensive Tackles, the Texans race toward the endzone aboard their Carr, custodian of the stolen plans that can lead their people to the Super Bowl and restore a championship to Houston...

You don't think the Texans defence is good enough to be considered a real test? Ah well, suppose you could be right. :(

Quick guys, which two do I start?

R. Droughns, M. Moore, K. Jones (DET)

I have Droughns and Moore starting, but every site keeps saying that Jones is a must start this week. What do I do?
