NFL Week 9 |OT| Gronkenstorm

Is it true Aaron Rodgers cried after someone called him short?

He didn't cry... but on 60 minutes yesterday he is obviously very sensitive about it. One of the fans told him "you look a lot smaller in real life". He got all pouty and said "I dont appreciate that"

It was funny as hell. He's definitely got the Jordan complex. Clay and Greg were ribbing him for being so sensitive too...

So does anyone else in the league run this wide 9 shit? Seems like you're giving great angles to run off-tackle.

The Wide 9 can be very effective if you have great defensive line. The Lions started using it as soon as we drafted Suh, because Suh's pressure up the middle focuses more attention on him, thus freeing up the defensive ends to make plays. Corey Williams and now Nick Fairley are damn good DT's as well.

The Eagles killed any chance they had to be a decent defense when they wasted $100 Million on Nnamdi and DRC. Memo to NFL GM's around the league: You don't spend that much money on a DB when you have a shit defensive line, and shit linebacking core.

A DB will only be as good as the pressure the front 7 put up. That's why the Lions have been able to get away with such a mediocre secondary, because the defensive line puts so much pressure.

That $100 Million the Eagles spent could've been used to shore up the offensive line or add more playmakers on the defensive line.

tl;dr Don't spend money on DB's if you have a shit defensive line.

Must not pay attention to all the blown coverages. Stay interested for 3 more. ..uh, 2 more months.

Asante wasn't any better. He would just run his own plays and not follow the designed call.

And its funny the D wasn't playing this bad before Juan was fired. The secondary was actually decent.

This game and the game before its just been god awful.

if that was jay that said that, he would get so much shit.

Rodgers ignores cancer patients, get mad and whines at fans about his height, and get called out by finley's agent for not being a leader.....but jpout gets shit for making his team play better.

suck iiiiiiiittttttt

We didn't have a shit D-Line though. In fact we led the league in sacks last year, so...

though in all fairness, they have been shitty as fuck this year. And we're second last in sacks now. Perhaps the biggest disappointment of all because Babin/Cole were excellent last season.

You again show that you know absolutely nothing.

The Eagles secondary was terrible and the DLINE was decent. DRC was return for the Kolb trade. They picked up Nnamdi in FA. They needed to upgrade the secondary. It just hasn't worked out. But the DLINE was great against the pass last year. Led the league in sacks. Secondary has played better this season but the DLINE is completely gone. Same players and same scheme but teams have just figured them out.

So he did cry.

He was mopey for sure. It was funny.

Everything is a competition with him. I love it!

One won the superbowl in MVP fashion(though Tramon was the real MVP!). The other gave up on his team in the biggest game of his career. Yeah, they are comparable!

Vick has to get benched at halftime. This is a mess for the Iggles.

People keep saying this but for what? Why?

Reid is coaching for his job. His best chance to win is with Vick. Foles is a rookie QB. You gonna put him in behind this OLINE? With a back up C, LT, and RT?

The Lions run defense is just as shitty as the Eagles, the wide 9 is terrible unless you have good linebackers, not defensive linemen.

There you go defending Cutler!

Good to see cam being cam. But Holyshit that was the worst cutler meltdown this year. 4 yards or something in the first half? Fucking kill me. I will never defend cutler again.
