I'm really just expressing my rage through sarcasm, but the Bruins have eight shots through two periods — they're just not looking very good. And Thomas seems to be descending back to Earth. :(

No way. Our team had the worst offense in the league last season...this was to be expected some nights. No matter how good our defense has been if you can't control the puck in their zone they are going to get some goals.

Its really frustrating that the Habs can seemingly only have one line going at any given time. For the first part of the season it was the Pleks line, now its the Pouliot line.

Detroit looks good right now, need to keep it up though for the rest of the game. Also our PP still completely sucks, 4 minutes and no goal, ugh, I can see that coming back to kill us.

They may not have scored on that PP but it definitely didn't suck. They created some great chances, Bulin is the only reason it's still 1-0.
 
Theres no such thing as a bad win, but christ, Martin needs to undo everything he has done. Put the Pleks/Kost/Cammy line back together and send Gomez to the AHL.

Fuck you if you think Mike Lange is a homer announcer. He is probably the best play by play man in the league.

He was talking about the two retard tv announcers Bob Errey and Paul Steigerwald.

Yeah, I've never heard Lange, but the guys you have for TV, should probably be replaced. Not to say it doesn't happen with Detroit, but I know Mickey just like's seeing a fair game of hockey and criticizes stuff from both teams most of the time. Ken Daniels is more of a homer but he's not too bad compared to what I just heard.

Just caught a few minutes of the audio tonight but Dallas came to play with 3 powerplay goals. As a side note, I'm sick of people complaining about attendance. First of all, its not *that* bad and second, people will come if the team can put together a few modest win streaks. Dallas hasn't made the playoffs in two years. Let them win a little and people will be back in the seats. Besides, the weather isn't even cold yet!

No... Martin needs to be fired...

Everything he tries to do ends up in disaster... We only won because the 3rd line was spared from his "let's change everything" rampage.

I see Eller put in a solid row of zeros again. Didn't FJ book 2 points for him playing with top line guys?
 
Holy fuck the Devils have a -23 goal differential. Before the year started I thought they would be bad but even I did think they would be this bad. The best part is there is no hope going forward either. They are stuck with that awful Kovalchuk contract for like a million years. What a great season so far for hockey.

Has anyone here tried out the ESPN app on 360 yet? I watched a KHL game on there the other day. I cant wait for ESPN to get the NHL back.
