EA should just use generic music and spend the money they save on better gameplay. Most people I know just use custom music. I have my PS3 stocked with at least 5GB of tunes and that doesn't include the custom goal songs and such.

I usually don't put custom soundtrack on (I didn't have that many issues with the NHL11 soundtrack), I'll see how annoyed I get with this edition, esp since I'll probably be playing it more than I did with 11...

Sony introduced a new PlayStation 3 bundle for NHL 13 when the game launches on September 11. It includes a 320GB PlayStation 3 and a copy of the game for $299.99. It's available at most retailers in Canada. Sony is also throwing in a month trial of PlayStation Plus.

Controls are fine. You really need to pay attention to your positioning and gap control this year.

I'm talking about the left analog stick. You don't need to always hold it in the direction you want to skate. You can let go and glide with your momentum. The skating control is a lot more analog this year which helps gap control.

Against my better judgement I preordered this for the $15 credit on Amazon. I vowed after NHL11 I would get no more this gen unless they released it on PC, but the physics and AI improvements have me intrigued.
